Good location close to the railway station and the centre of town. Bus stops nearby for connections if you didn't want to walk.

It is a spacious apartment, modern and clean throughout. Presented to a high standard and there was a handy guide, which helped with picking some nice places to eat. Great location, close to the main piazza. Just to be aware, you need to request extra bed linen if you want to use the sofa bed. The host promptly provided when we arrived, so it wasn’t a problem.

The bed was a bit firm for us but really there wasn’t anything wrong at all.

This is a very good apartment right in the centre of Bologna and close to the main sites. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay including air conditioning which was vital when we visited. The building it was in was very quiet - we barely heard the neighbours whilst we were there. Overall it was a really good place to stay and a fantastic base to explore Bologna from.

Aircon. It’s quite noisy.

It’s our first time visiting Bologna and what I liked the most with this property was the strategic location. So close to the city center and 20 minutes walk from the train station. I find it safer here than staying near the train station since I found many homeless at the porticos. Maybe because during our stay some of the shops were closed. The apartment was easy to locate using google maps. And good starting point if you want to do some sightseeing. And if you want to walk by night going to the city center and find some restaurants it’s really easy to do so even by foot. The apartment is big enough for the three of us. Just quite difficult to get inside since there isn’t enough space between the door and the divano letto (sofa bed). The host Lucia is easy to communicate. We had problems with the hot water and she solved it immediately.

It was some reconstruction on the upper apartment and noise was so loud from 8 pm to 4 pm.

We ware supposed to get a taxi early in the morning when going back to the airport. There was a taxi phone number in the leaflet in the apartment. But that was not a taxi number but an Italian tape to load a taxi app? When calling to the manager she informed that no taxis were available for the trip next morning to the airport. I loaded the app and it said no taxis available! Luckily I could book an Uber taxi.

Excellent location within the center. Everything within walking distance. Good thing that there were no physical keys to the apartment but a code. But it was difficult first to exit the apartment because nobody told how to open that door lock from inside -- only on the second day I read it from the leaflet in the apartment -- it should have been mentioned earlier like the method how to get in. The room was clean. Good restaurants also near by.

Shower head looked really impressive, but couldn’t work out how to use it. Instructions supplied - but not clear. Washing machine door remained locked at completion of wash cycle. Host advised door had delayed opening mechanism, but in our case it remained locked and we couldn’t unload the washed apartment towels. Centrality of location was really great, but being on a main road did make it a bit noisy.

Cleanliness. Able to check in earlier than usual time (thank you Lucia). No keys - door code access. Very central location.

We were generally very happy with the apartment and Lucia's support.

Lucia gave us all the information we needed to get into the apartment. It was all very clear and worked perfectly. we were greatly delayed arriving, so being able to get in without any further delay was very much appreciated. The location was right on the edge of the central area and we walked from the front door every day. So, very convenient and quite close to the Central station for the bus back top the airport.

Although the property was described as having a seating area there was only a 2 seater small sofa next to the exit door. This is an observation, not a big issue as there was a dining table and chairs. As we stayed for 6 nights we would have anticipated a change of towels, although we did wash and dry them in the provided washer/drier.

The property was very clean and we found it useful to have a washer dryer (to wash the provided towels). The location was excellent and only a few minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. Bologna was much better than we anticipated and the restaurant recommendations from Lucia were excellent. Lucia responded very quickly to WhatsApp messages, arranged a taxi for departure and allowed additional time to store luggage on departure. The walk to San Luca Cathedral, through the c5km of porticos, was fantastic and the c350m assent allowed for good views on the ascent/descent. It was easy enough for us in our sixties. There is a tourist bus from Piazza Maggiore if you do not wish to walk.
