It was all good.

The hotel is just opposite the central station in La Spezia and a perfect starting point for a visit to Cinque Terre. My room was a single room, it was small, but comfortable and the bed was comfy and the shower/bathroom facillities were fine. The breakfast was basic, but with options of both Italian and Continental style dishes. The personal was nice and friendly and very helpful for any questions, and I could leave my luggage there for the day on the day on my departure. Very good value for money.

The noise from outside, as we had a room that faced the train station.

The staff were so accommodating, which we so appreciated and very friendly. They gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. Having a bar inside the hotel was convenient. The hotel was basic, fitted our needs, clean and a great location to the train and old town. .

It was truly expensive. This is the only thing that I disliked about it.

The beds were really comfortable. The location was perfect just next to the train station. The staff are very welcoming, and looked for our travel bags after check out, which was really sweet of them.

Could hear a bit of noise through the neighbouring rooms, not very well sound proofed but didn’t keep us awake as we were all so tired from our day trip!

Buffet breakfast is 5€ and good value too, lovely fresh pastries and a range of Italian style breakfast options. Location was amazing and so convenient for getting to and from the central train station, would definitely recommend for short stays as an easy go to and from Cinque Terre. Reception is staffed 24/7 and they were happy to hold our bags free of charge whilst we went about our day after checkout

Communication with some of the staff who did not speak English was mostly overcome through use of Google Translate. The shower enclosure was very small. There is no place to unload your car in front of the hotel, so we had to park mostly on the sidewalk which bothered some pedestrians.

The Hotel was directly across the street from the train station. Private parking that we arranged with the Hotel-which was several blocks away-provided a secure place to stow our cars in individual garage units. The breakfast was varied and OK for the money, and individually-made coffees were offered. The local owners took pride in their property.

The bathroom is very small, the room hasn't been renovated in years, the breakfast is not included and the croissant hasn't been fresh. The windows are old and do not reduce outside noises, therefore I was glad that I took the earplugs. There isn't a trash bin in the room.

The only good thing was the location very close to the train station.

I was missing a do not disturb sign as I did not need room cleaned for just two nights but I believe one was out on after I mentioned it.

The location was great as I was later getting in from the train station and hotel was close. My room was pleasantly quiet in the night. The front staff were great. I chose the petit breakfast as I had a broken tooth and was only interested in scrambled eggs which you did not have but the full breakfast looked good. The pillow was a bit firm but ok and the bed was firm but ok. The room was clean. I was pleased the a/c worked well.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location AMAZING to get to Cinque Terre, literally couldn’t be closer to the station if you tried (there is a lift which takes you out opposite). Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, and good price
