Parts of the hotel were let out for functions. On the night I was there the rooftop terrace and bar were closed for a huge birthday party. To add insult to injury, the noise from the disco went on until 1am.

Location 2mins from the station. Efficient reception staff. All modern amenities - lifts, air conditioning, satellite TV, etc. Decent breakfast buffet (except for the instant coffee).

The breakfast could have more local stuff and scrambled eggs. The waiters could be more present during the breakfast. The heated pool could allow children over 10 years and be included in the room rate.

The room was very good but the balcony was not clean, full of dust.

Staff were disinterested, breakfast was minimal, and there were noisy parties outside my room until the wee hours.

Very close to the train station and a short walk to the town centre. The room was very comfortable.

Breakfast was appalling - terrible machine coffee, watery orange juice from a machine, very little variety of products .... Room sparsely furnished. Thin, hard pillows. Hotel generally run down - damp patches on hall walls, dirty carpets, top floor ''American Bar'' closed and floor wet and warped ...

    Utilitarian hotel. Decent sized room.

The people at the reception didn't provide me any information at the check-in, like breakfast time or location, wifi password, check-out time, hotel amenities. It was uncommon for a 4* hotel.

Modern hotel, very nice and comfortable room, breakfast was ok.

Bed was a little hard for some of my party but fine for me. We were there a week and there were 3 weddings which meant quite loud music etc into the early hours of morning - so although we didn't necessarily want to (as out most evenings) we didn't feel comfortable using the outdoor terraces on those nights.... But these are small niggles compared to the general way the hotel is ie air conditioned and very welcoming .

Friendly staff - cleanliness and good facilities such as the onsite pool as well as the private beach. Rooms were a good size too.

The hotel needs to improve their breakfast. It was ridiculous. No coffee except a machine...and for 14 days all you had to eat were croissants and yogurt. VERY poor breakfast. VERY disappointing for a 4 star hotel. You will be hungry.

We liked everything about the hotel except that it is located on a noisy street so you cannot leave the window open at night.

The hotel was great however, as a 4 star hotel, it needs a better breakfast. There was no variety and no choices ...very poor especially if you have allergies and a specific diet.

A difficult one this, as we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was near the main road, but did not really bother us. The upside was the view of the old town of Amantea from the roof top terrace.

Hotel staff were very friendly and informative. Our thanks to everyone who made our stay so pleasurable (Alessandro, Vincenzo, Armando, Luciano, Patrizzia to name a few). Room was very clean and spacious - there were 4 of us in a family room. We did visit in low season, so not that warm for the oudoor pool, although we tried it on our last day. Thankfully there was an indoor pool and it was fantastic. Our room did not have a view, but the roof top terrace did and we had a few drinks and snacks up there. Breakfast bar in the morning consisted of cereals with milk, plenty of croissants (sometimes not crispy enough), cakes (local types and very good), yogurts, fresh fruit, eggs (boiled and scrambled), toast, bread and various jams. Coffee from the bar was excellent. Beach was about 10 minute walk. Town was about 5 minutes walk. Old town was about 20 minute walk (uphill from the town centre).

pitty the property is in such a location. absolutely nothing to do in the vicinity and looks like a rundown. although there are some good restaurants nearby.

The 4 beds room was much smaller than in the pictures from the hotel's homepage. The indoor pool was not allowed to children under 12,that was not mentioned at the moment of the booking in the hotels homepage. Generally it felt like staff at the reception didn't enjoy working there.

The bed is a bit to firm. Most of the staff does not speak English but they try very hard to understand and get what. With free wifi use your translator app.

The rooms are large and the shower is hot. In the good weather you can dine on the outside patio. The food is a mix of haute taste and home style with country sized portions. The huge infinity pool is set in a very tranquil grassy setting. A five minute walk puts you at their beach area with loungers at the shore line. They even let us use a washing machine and provided a dryer rack

The shower was too small,a small fridge and safety deposit box would be great.

The location of the hotel is in a quiet area, away from the hustle and noise and within walking distance of centre of town
