The endless sirens ..... with the amount of bikes scooters etc this is not surprising this is nothing to do with the booking

Nothing, everything was great.

The two Lorenzos were very very nice to us and the apartment is beautiful, the walls keep the painting from the 18th century and the location is great, near the station. Lorenzo gave us a bottle of wine which, of course, we enjoyed a lot.

A terrible smell came from the bathroom and reached the next room.

Shower entrance is a bit tight for larger people, but other than that everything was perfect!

Stayin at Melarancio apartments was the cherry on top of a beautiful and magical visit to the incredible city of Florence. Both Lorenzos were incredibly attentive and their warm welcome allowed us to relax after a long train ride. Apart from a very kind welcome gift, we were amazed by the antique beauty of the property and very much enjoyed its rich history. All the suggestions provided were useful and the apartment's location made it very easy to move between them by walking. We found the accommodations comfortable, clean and cozy, and even though we didn't have any issues Lorenzo was always quick to respond to my messages. We will stay there in the future again!

Brilliant location for seeing the sites of Florence. Easy to get there on the tram from the airport and really close to the train station too. Lots of information provided by the hosts on where to visit and the best places to eat.

The only negative thing I would say is that it was quite noisy at night but this is because the apartment is right in the centre and is therefore surrounded by bars. This did not take anything away from my visit and I would definitely book the same accommodation again.

The property was perfect and the host was lovely and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The location was central which was great for walking around the city. Public transport was very convenient and there is a tram straight from the airport to a stop very close to the accommodation.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Great location, short walking distance to train station yet ‘in’ Florence. Wonderful spacious apartment. Beautiful traditional interior which made our stay feel very authentic. Well equipped with everything you might need. Five star service from Lorenzo, so helpful, excellent communication, excellent welcome.

Excellent location in 5 minutes walk from train station and also very close to Basilica Santa Maria Novella. A lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. Apartment in old style, but comfortable.

Access to this 3rd floor flat is by stairs and not lift. This is really not a problem for visitors with reasonable mobility.

Perfect location. Lovely little apartment. Very helpful owners who turned up quickly when we arrived a full five hours earlier than we’d expected. Helpful notes and map provided by owners with restaurant recommendations and places to visit.

We really enjoyed the location and the character of the apartment, and Lorenzo was a very attentive host. It was great to walk out the door and be in the heart of the historical section. Lorenzo provided guide books and maps to navigate our way around and some great suggestions for meals.

The bathroom has a musty smell.

The apartment is centrally located, close to the train station and to the duomo . Perfect location. It is a historical place, beautiful frescoes. I like that we open the windows and just look out, it’s like my balcony- love it. Lorenzo is a great host. He met us and helped with our luggage. He responds quickly to my questions, he gave a list of places to eat including gelato. He had a bottle of wine for us.
