Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The attached restaurant is an excellent place for lunch. The included breakfast was very nice and the staff Awesome. Location to the cathedral of St Francis of Assisi was very helpful.

i have been to the property before and will always return here. Super convenient to St Francis assisi cathedral as well as a short walk to the square and the church where blessed Carlos Accutis body lies. The coffe shops and religious shops are 2 minute walk away

Reception didn't have info on mass times, didn't have any maps in English. Friendly people, but did not have much interest in us enjoying or making the most of our limited time in Assisi. Sink had poor water pressure/ flow.
Functional room with comfortable bed. Good A/C. Great shower pressure. Exceptional breakfast.

Block out shades in our room would have made our stay much more pleasant. The outer shutter slats could not close, and far too much light entered the room for a good sleep. Our daughter’s room had inner shutters, ours did not.
Breakfast was excellent, cappuccinos were good, staff was very friendly

You should request for hot water (for drink) at the restaurant. There were no water boiler / coffee maker at the room.

Very well placed for Basilica and bus from station. Plenty of restaurants and easy to explore Assissi from there. Very comfortable, lovely hosts and good breakfast. This was our second visit.

The room was small.
Good breakfast, excellent sound insulation despite our room overlooking main street we enjoyed total silence. Staff were very pleasant and very very helpful

This is our 5th or 6th time staying in this hotel. We absolutely love the staff here, they're some of the kindest people you'll ever encounter. This hotel is literally the perfect place to stay when coming to Assisi. And in full transparency I can't wait to come back... P.S. probably the best coffee you'll find in town.

Super friendly staff. I asked the receptionist to reserve a table for the dinner in that evening. His choice was excellent!! This hotel is located very close to the bus station so that you don’t have to drag your heavy luggage up hill. Be reminded this town is quite hilly. Very nice breakfast room, really cozy place.

Sound were easily transmitted between rooms, poor soundproofing. Shower enclosure was difficult to manipulate & noisy! For the elderly, location is far & upholl to main town square.
The location was excellent, quite close to the Basilica of Saint Francis. The staff was frirndly & Adam was extremely helpful &friendly.

The restaurant was open only for breakfast. Not even a bar open. No other restaurants either very near.
Nice hotel in the "beginning" of Assisi - everything else is upwards from here, except parking which was down the hill a bit. Nice view down to the plains when you book a room with a view like I did. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had to leave quite early and wanted have breakfast earlier than the restaurant opened (breakfast between 7.30-9.30) and the staff let me have my breakfast even though everything was not ready after seven when I came down. Parking possibility in a parking facility nearby, cost 14 euros per day.

Everything was great!
This is a great hotel. The location is perfect. Right in the ancient town close to basilica. Walking distance to most sites. The room was very nice & comfortable. Breakfast was very good. And the staff was exceptional.
