Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Included Breakfast was very poor, not many choices, and there was barely some food left at 9 am.

The restaurant/bar in the piazza outside started a dance party with music loud enough to keep us awake which went on past midnight on a Sunday night. We had an early Monday morning start so that was a little annoying. Parking is a lucky draw - if you can find a spot, grab it because it gets full on the street and nearby parking lot, and the hotel doesn’t have its own parking or valet service.
Right on the promenade this property is very conveniently located. It has great views and is ideal for strolling along the sea front enjoying the sunrises and sunsets or even just experiencing the vibe of Rapallo. There’s a public beach right nearby and 30+ restaurants all around it, including the in-house Miramare restaurant which is very elegant and has great outdoor seating.

Hard to think of any complaint but a better too blanket for the bed would’ve been cozy??
I really enjoyed the location, air conditioning was freezing and everyone was very nice! WiFi and cleaning service was so nice too! Great value for everything you need and MORE!

There was no safety box, just one slow elevator. However, these things did not bother us.

absolutely no noise insulation, we could hear the kids playing in the next room, as well as noises from other floors. the worst thing however was the "shrine" the owner dedicated to current Italian prime minister giorgia meloni, in the lobby of the hotel. total nonsense, never seen a display of political views in an hotel before

The room shown on the website was obviously recently renovated. Our room (501), particularly the bathroom, had not been recently renovated. It was OK but showed its age and having a shower in the bath was a disappointment. Both the free water in the fridge and the shower gel in the bathroom were not replaced daily. Other than the room, there were no facilities to relax. The bar was closed, and a room to sit and read/play games on the very rainy day, was rather sterile. We had to ask to have the lights and heating turned on. Tea and coffee were provided on request but not volunteered.
An old fashioned hotel, partially renovated. Location was perfect, close to the promenade and the shopping streets.

ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING on site. Street is slammed with cars always! Must pay meter 24 / 7. Elevator was tiny.
The breakfast and had a beautiful sea view. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Right across street ferry to Portifino. Great location across from ocean and shopping.

the quaint elevator functioned well but some guests would forget to close doors completely.

The beds were uncomfortable for both my husband and I. We are not use to two twin beds pushed together.
The location was wonderful, local to many places. It had a nice breakfast that is included daily. It’s view is perfect, faced the beach. We walked to close by restaurants and nice shopping right outside our hotel. We were celebrating our anniversary so it was nice to come back from dinner to a bottle of champagne on ice and 2 wine glasses. Very much appreciated 🥰. Grazie Mille!

The location of the hotel, is fantastic, it's so near to the railway staion, and it's in the city center, with a great sea view, the staff are so polite and kind and helpful, the breakfast was so fresh and there was a plenty of sweet and sour choices, and fresh friuts

Great location and staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection. Loved the old lift...just remember to close the door properly or else it wont move. Hotel is directly in front of the ferry stop.
