The hotel is in the old monestary and the atmosphere is relaxing.There is a small reed room if you want to sit in silence. So amazing place near of everything. The view from the balcony was incredible. They clean the room every day. Breakfast was great, salty and sweet. The staff is very nice and friendly. Very conveniently located in the heart of Assisi's old town, with panoramic views of the San Francesco Basilica. Stunning sunsets on the 3rd floor terrace. Generous and nicely furnished room. Great breakfast with a wide selection of fresh sweet pastries. A special appreciation for the wonderful and very helpful team, especially signora Carla - I came in with a freshly sprained ankle and was extremely generously taken care of and even invited for some food and drink with the team at night. Truly blessed thanks again! ❤️

This hotel is by far a 2-star hotel. It's breathtaking. The hotel is just across the street from the church. The room we had has an amazing view of the church. The room also had excellent cold ac, the bathroom was absolutely clean with toiletries, and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are not huge, but, enough for a couple. You can feel the history of the hotel.

Everything. The staff was extremely nice. The place is so pretty with an amazing view on the wonderful basilica S. Francisco. The terrasse is perfect to watch landscape. The breakfast is well served. The room was cleaned everyday. I really loved the little church in this hotel. And all of this for a very good price I will come back for sure !

The staff is only available until 11:00 PM, after that you're on your own. The parking space is very limited, and since it's in the middle of the old-town, parking nearby is not really an option. It would suck on a rainy day.

The hotel used to be a monastery that was turned into the hotel this year. The location is unbeatable, it's literally across the St. Francis cathedral. The staff was very helpful and cordial, giving recommendations for the day, where to park, where to eat and how to tour around the city. The room was bing enough, not very luxurious, but with an AC unit and comfortable beds. Breakfast was OK, nothing to boast about, but good enough options.

The hotel is right above St Frances Basilica. While the rooms are simple, they are comfortable. We both slept amazing. The proximity to the Basilica made it very easy to join for evening and early morning Masses. We had an amazing view out of our window and nice patios on each floor. The breakfast had a good variety of colder items: hard boiled egg, toast, cereal, pastries, cheese.

Hospitality, location, and price point

The rooms don't have any sound isolation, so basically, each step on the corridor, each key inserted in any door, each talk or whisper sounded loud and clear in my room as well. Late at night, early in the morning, sleeping quietly was a big challenge. Then the AC in the room would switch off after reaching a certain temperature and never go on again unless I get out of bed and do it myself. Imagine doing this every hour during the night. It's not ideal at all.

The location is top-notch. Right in front of St. Francis basilica with a direct view over it. Very close to the main bus station, close to restaurants, churches, souvenir shops. It was a monastery previously, so it keeps some of the sobriety of such place, with a small chapel inside, with icons and religious items displayed around which I find beautiful. The staff was very kind, very helpful, they made me feel like home. The view from their rooftop terrace is iconic, very hard to beat in Assisi. The room was very clean and the bed, even though very small, it was comfortable.
