Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing as such.
The room was good and spacious. Please note that it is a small budget hotel and one cannot expect extraordinary amenities. The set-up is a bit old, but for us it was not an issue. The hotel is actually 5 minutes away from the Mestre station and 7 minutes from bus stop. Hence the location is great. Overall a recommended stay.

That it does not have elevator and we had to do 2 floors by stairs.
Price was good related the location, near Venecia 1 train 10 minutes. The neightborhood had lot of good and cheap restaurants. Te personal of the hotel was very kind and the room was big and comfortable.

There is actually nothing. But it would have been better that the hotel provides each guest with a small bottle of water in the room. That would be excellent.
The room is spacious, we got a ground floor room so we need not climb stairs.

The hotel is in a perfect location, 5 minutes walk from the train station. Plenty of restaurants and mini-markets nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean. It's a little shabby looking but it's perfectly decent and we had a nice stay here.

As for decorating the room ... well, this is a bit simplistic. The furniture is a bit outdated, no refrigerator in the room (at least that was the case in our room with 3 beds) and most disturbing, the walls have not been painted for a very long time. A large area of the wall at the entrance was smoky because of the radiator (probably) - totally unpleasant. You will find the same outdated look in the hallways and in the reception area. So a bit expensive for what it offers.
Despite the proximity to the train station (5 min walk), the area is very quiet. Shops for daily supplies are a few streets away. The room and the toilet are clean, the sanitary facilities work perfectly, the linen is very clean and fresh.

There is no tea pot in the room - it would be good to have it. But they are ready to provide you with hot boiled water and you do not need to go out each time. Soundproffing of the room could be better.
Great location. It is in the silent street in 10 minutes walk from the Mestre rail station. Very good team! All are extremely polite and always ready to help. The room was pretty good and quite big. They cleaned the room on daily basis, and changed towels even if we did not asked. The room was soundproof from the street but not from the common corridor - we could hear loud noises and voices when people came in and went out. We did not order the breakfast and took one for extra payment. It is typical Italian - too sweet. But they also could propose only coffee at a regular price and that became a good option for us.

A little run down in the main areas but this wasn't really a problem. I didn't plan on sleeping in the reception! There is no lift but this is clear on the information so no surprise!
Very nice staff, very helpful. About a 10 minute walk from train station. Quiet area. Very clean room and good linen. Clean towels. Bathroom was ensuite. For the price this was an OK place to stay made better by the staff.

The mattress was too firm.
We loved everything apart from the hard mattress. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Location was excellent for access to train station and hop on/off bus. Aircon was a blessing in the fierce Roman heat. They stored our case on our final day with no charge. Highly recommended.

Can’t think of anything.
Extremely close to Mestre train and bus stations, so a great option if you are flying into Marco Polo and need a train or bus out next morning. . Lovely kind staff at reception. Very clean. ‘Real’, not touristy neighborhood.
