The bathroom of our room was not in the best condition and the breakfast was ok but not fresh.

Bed was quite hard,, breakfast limited in choice

Very large room with high ceiling, beautiful lounge and garden, friendly receptionists, central location. Old charm, a feeling of "coming back to grandma's house".

The worst experience!!! A terrible breakfast (no choice of meal and very cheap meal), then so far from the beach - you have to pay for the beach and is completely full of people. Unfortunately quite reluctant and cheeky receptionist. We booked a room with 3 real beds and actually, we got 2 beds and 1 extra bed - a completely different room from the booking picture. Instead of 6 nights, we stayed only 1 night and it was enough!

The small lift was ancient and not very reliable so carrying suitcases up and down 2 floors.

A rather nice air of faded elegance. Good location 5 minutes from beach bars, 10 minutes to town centre. 10 minute taxi to train station. Small car park and garden area at the rear.

The hotel was very close to the center of the city,in a great location.!The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is housed in an old mansion ,and the rooms were very clean!!

Wonderful stay in the hotel Morandi, I was lucky to have a sea view from my room. The decoration is a little bit retro but I actually liked it. The staff is very polite and helpful, nice breakfast with italian cakes.

Hotel is very old and rooms dated. Needs a massive revamp. Receptionist wasn't overly friendly. A bit expensive for the quality of everything, not sure Id stay again...

Stayed here for 1 night driving across Europe. Big room, good parking. Close to the central shops and restaurants.

Hotel is on the main thoroughfare, horribly choked with traffic. No noise problems (though we were at the back of the hotel), but not a pleasant stretch to have to walk along each day. We were only there for a one night stopover, but wouldn't have fancied staying in that particular location much longer.

Lovely big room, general sense of spaciousness and elegance. Faded grandeur perhaps, but that's Sanremo for you!

All furniture and technic is very old, rooms are small and do not correspond to the description provided on the web-site, there is no fridge in the room and no balcony even if it says there is one. We had to cancel our further stay and leave earlier. Would not advice this hotel, it looks like an old bordelle and sounds the same at night... Sanremo itself does not worth of attention either, better stop 20 kilometers farer and enjoy the place...

Nothing. Terrible hotel, everything is outdated and needs to be repaired if not replaced

However, some details are too, too old.

Hotel Morandi (built in 1896) is the first or second hotel built in Sanremo. I suppose that Hercule Poirot has visited this hotel. Beside the building, you can enjoy a large court with many places for spending your times. But the main attraction is the Mediterranean Sea under the Italian sun - no more than 150 m to the beach.

I thought the hotel did not look fashionably retro, just plain shabby, a bit like a haunted house. Also, if you get a room overlooking the street it can be quite noisy

My family liked it, as they thought the hotel was original since it looked as if the time had stopped and we were back in 1950s. It is close both to the beach and the town. Breakfast is included in the price so that was good.

A traditional hotel that has kept the charm of Sanremo! The room was extra spacious with high ceilings, a balcony that provided the most beautiful view of the garden and the sea. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was great too. I would certainly like to go back!
