To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaWe were 2 adults and a child, they only put two set of towels becuse of the policy they have defined for a double room even when they allowed me to book the room for three people. After some complaints at the frontdesk, they gave us an extra set of towel at no extra cost. The room does not have minibar.
In general the facility is good enough to bed and breakfast.

United KingdomWould have loved tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. There are none. You can go to reception 24hr though and they will make a hot drink for a fee. Cup of tea 2.5 euro. Lady who worked in breakfast room was a little grumpy with us but all other staff were great.
Great location, a few steps to Duomo. Some rooms face the spectacular sight of Duomo. Ponte Vecchio and other attractions are all very close and easily walkable. The hotel is great. It's comfortable and clean, also very reasonably priced. We occupied 2 rooms, double and single for our son. The single was very small, however, clean and perfectly adequate. Hopefully in a place such as beautiful Florence - little time to be spent in room due to the sightseeing. Breakfast is simple again, perfectly fine. The hotel could do with a good lick of paint and the dark traditional woods add to a old fashioned look. It's not the most beautiful hotel by far but we found v comfy beds and clean everywhere. Coupled with location and price, it's a good place to stay.

GermanyThis hotel is not wheelchair-friendly, although it says it is on booking.com . There is an elevator to get to the reception and entry of the hotel, that is too narrow for any wheelchair_ people need to be able to get out of the chair and stand up.

Location of this hotel is amazing! You can see Basilica Santa Maria del Fiore from your window and reach it for 2 minutes walk. There are lots of cafes and restaurant around. The center of Florence is not big so you can walk to Galleria degli Uffizi or Galleria Academia for 5 - 10 minutes. The Hotel is clean. Very polite and attentive stuff. Breakfast is really good: coffee, juices, sandwiches, yougurt, fruit, etc.

United States of AmericaIf you like a VERY firm mattress, this room is for you. I think the bar was for looks and to say they had a bar rather than an actual place to get a drink, or ice, the ice machine was broken for our entire stay.
The location was fantastic. We had a view of the bell tower. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not a bad size and clean. Breakfast was good.

CanadaThe only thing that was a little annoying was having to leave your key at the front desk everytime you leave the hotel. I understand it's for safety from pickpockets, but maybe there's a better alternative.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was never a time where I hesitated to ask a question.
