At first we passed the Hotel like tree times because there was no sing or anything that indicate that is actually the hotel. Than receptionist didn't speak English that's a big minus. (But he was polite) but the BIGGEST problem of all was that in the room was SO cold(in february) air condition was not in function it was really really freezing there was no any aditional blancket that we could take..that at one point we took a sweater and sleep in it! Terrible mistake to chose this hotel.. photos on booking are not even close to the reality...

AC didn't work - not pleasant in 30+ temps. Parking is a joke, we were blocked in on two evenings. Public areas scruffy. Restaurant basic and expensive. Bar was a joke. Steep hill to climb on foot. They award 4 stars very easily in Italy - Faulty Towers of Sanremo, give it a miss.

The staff were very good. They were helpful, friendly and went out of their way to guarantee we enjoyed our stay. They succeeded. The swimming area and food/drink bar were very good. The food was particularly good - fresh, tasty and inexpensive. We would go back and recommend to any group young or old , with or without children.

There is nothing that associates the hotel with a 4-Star level. The hotel is very old, all public areas were not reconstructed since the 60's. You need a map to get to the pool) choose a hotel in the center of San Remo, same price, more comfort.

The pool area & gardens need attention. Also, some corridors need new carpet. The free shuttle bus with it's very friendly driver was only available until 6pm. It would have been good for this service to be extended for a few more hours. The walk to the city centre takes about 45 minutes but this includes a 500 meter /10 minutes on a very steep walkway to reach street level.

The Hotel is quite old and run down. We we're taken to 3 rooms before we found one that had been cleaned and had working air conditioning. The Hotel is close the main restaurant and beach front area. A taxi ride not a walk. The pool is a block away via a tunnel from the restaurant basement to the pool area. I guess we wanted low cost and that's what we achieved. The Hotel is rated 4 star but compared to the other 11 Hoels we stayed at in Italy, it was far from 4 star. We would rate it 2-3 star.

Room wasn't ready until 6pm. We'd had a long drive and were offered the pool until the room was ready. Not enough sun loungers by the pool, door to the room did not look secure (room 210), lobby outside the room was grim. No ice machine and we were offered a small glass of ice so had to return to reception several times. Wouldn't go back.

This is the second worst hotel I've been in my life. It says 4* but it doesn't deserve even to be open to the public. Everything is dirty, long corridors with carpet floors full of stains. to reach the room you have to walk about 100m of corridors, taking 3 times stairs with no elevator. The bedroom is half renovated very poorly with very deficient bathroom full of mold. hot water comes and go in the shower with no pressure. the parking is another story, all the places were taken, they offer a second parking place 250m downhill that was also full and finally their recommendation is to park illegally on the side of the road. as a Minor detail free Wifi does not work.

Needs a lot of maintaince the place is a disgrace, missing bricks, weeds, paint splashed over tilesw in an attempt to "freshen up".Signage around the hotel ie meals times totally confusing and inaccurate. I was denied any meals as I didnt meet the dress code ie long trousers for men,it was supposed to be a resort!.Long dark tunnel and corridors 300m to get to my room. Sucure parking a joke either gate never closed or parking no 2 the fence puts the vehicles outside on the street. The tropival gardens are dead palm stumps a few desert plants and masses of weeds. Staff unwilling to help with luggage.Bar was 24hr as advertised but never manned you had to go to reception order a drink that was relayed in house and eventually you stood in the lobby and drank it again a joke. Pool looked clean but brown scum around liner, pool attendant did try one day to clean while guests still in pool did about 10m and gave up went back to his Ipod. Six pages of rules in every room and more pasted around hotel but staff broke them for local guests eg moving pool furniture but not those from other areas. Generally a disgusting place that does not deserve its 4 stars (even by the Italian star rating which would be a 2 star internationally)
