Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomUncomfortable creaky sofa bed. no water from midnight. When we woke up in the morning we had no water even at 09:30am and had to use bottles of water to brush our teeth. Couldn’t even flush the toilet when the water was off. There was a bit of a damp smell in the apartment. We were woken up many times throughout the night because of the noise in the lobby areas like kids screaming and doors slamming
Had everything we needed for a short stay. It was clean and had a big comfortable bed on the upper level. It was a very nice little apartment to stay in.

VietnamThere's hardly no fresh air for the apartment. There's no water from 11.30pm until 6.00am. The sofa bed was terrible. The bathroom was too small and smell bad.
The location.

Saudi ArabiaThe apartment is located on the ground floor near the front door, so it tends to be noisy at night.
The apartment is clean and fit for no more than 4 people. It is neat to the Rome Termini station

SerbiaThe apartment is more suitable for 2 or 3 people since the sofa is not very comfortable. Not enough natural light.
The host was very kind and helpful. Location is quite good, although you need to prepare for long walks in order to experience Rome. The kitchen is well equipped although we didn't use it a lot.

RomaniaThere was no heating in the apartment except an air conditioner so it was very cold and that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Also, it was a bit loud because of the entrace doors and the couch made a lot of noise when you moved even a tiny bit.
The location is very good, near Roma Termini, close to the subway and in walking distance from all the main atractions.

BelgiumThere is quite of lot of noise coming from the lobby of the building, when the door closes. It woke us up a couple of times in the morning. Earplugs advised. The water also didn't run for a few hours, twice.
Very good air conditioning, and a great location close to the station, metro lines and busses, in a calm street. Kitchen is pretty decently equipped with several pans and pots in various sizes.

IsraelThe owner is horrible, We rented the apartment for 6 nights. After we entered to the apartment we didn't had no water, we waited for two day's and still we didnt had water. We spoke with his representative and she didn't knew when the water will return. We needed to go to the restroom in other places, couldn't take a shower for 2 day's. Horrible 😞. So we decided to leave the apartment... We toled his representative that we Will leave the apartment. After all that , the owner didn't wanted to refaund us the money . Don't take this apartment, if you will have a problem no one will help you .
The location is Very good .

Czech RepublicWhen we arrived, the lady told us there would be no running water that evening from midnight till the morning. While we were not really happy about it, it sounded like last minute thing so we said it's fine and we would work around it. Imagine our surprise when on the second evening we wanted to brush our teeth around 23:00 and there was no running water again. On the third day of our stay, the water stopped running also around 9:00 when my friend was in the shower with shampoo in her hair. You can imagine we weren't really thrilled and had to run to near by shop to buy bottled water and help her wash it out. We contacted the host and he said the apartments have a tank that recharges during the night (whatever that means) and the water should be running during the day. But it wasn't! The water stopped running every single night around 23:00 and then again in the morning - sometimes around 9, 10 or 11. This kept happening every single day - we couldn't shower in the morning, we couldn't wash our dishes and you can't really flush a toilet either. So I would say this was a major inconvenience and not really what I imagined when I booked the stay. The booking support only responded like 2 days later saying there's nothing they can do and there will be no refund. The sofa bed was super squeaky so if you're light sleeper, you're likely to wake up every time the person on it moves and as the apartment is on the ground floor, you'll hear the main door close every time someone walks through. Some of the furniture has seen better days and the cleaning could be improved (there was some coffee grounds in the fridge). I cannot recommend staying here unless the host improves the water availability.
The location was just perfect - close to Termini and easy to get to, walkable distance to all main sightseeing. The host Stefano was very responsive regarding our arrival and they waited for us at the apartment to give us the keys and collect the tax (make sure to bring cash for it).

United StatesThe room has no views from the windows, you look into a big hole in the ground from the two tiny windows.. It is on the main floor just beside the main floor lobby, be prepared to be woken up several times through the night as the building entry door is big heavy metal and slams closed with people going in and out all through the night. It woke us up every night several times, the apartment sometimes vibrates when it slams-very annoying. There is no bath towel hooks in the bathroom so your wet towels need to be hung up over chairs, or the railing up in loft. The sofa bed pull out was as bumpy as they get + my daughter was attacked by either ticks or bed bugs all over feet the next morning. One other thing, we (3 people) were there 4 nights, you want three fresh towels they want to charge you 40euros.
The location is excellent and the room was a good size for the 3 of us. Had all the kitchen appliances you can ever need, everything worked. The stairs were not an issue but could be for elderly folks as they are very steep.

AustriaUnfortunately the bathroom in the apartment is very small and very cold. Because of the fact that this building might be very old and not getting warm in the bathroom there is a bit of a mould problem coming up. But that really did not bother to much since Rome is an old city and thats how the houses where build. The rest of the apartment was just perfect for us.
Since we arrived by train from Austria, the Area Termini, where the apartment is located was the perfect spot for us. From the train station it is an about 3 minute walk to the apartment. We got the keys from Paolo and he showed us everything and gave us good advices for the Dinner etc. The apartment it self is really big, enough space for two and really comfy. There are several good restaurants in this area and since Termini is right around the corner you can hop on the busses trains and subways really easy. Perfect for us!
