The location in Florence is excellent - walking distance to all major and historic sites. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and very well presented. Our host is a lovely lady and looked after all of our needs.

Amazing Location, literally opposite the Galleria dell’Accademia and a 5 min walk from the Duomo. Large 1 bed apartment and wonderful facilities. What a treat! Visit the Gran Caffe San Marco around the corner for coffee and beautiful food.

Maybe the public area lighting could be acoustically sensitive. So it’s not easier for us when we come here for the first time.

It’s just in front of the Academy gallery, very near to all the museums in Florence. The Apartment is very clean and big. Well maintained. Francesca is also the owner of the apartments . She takes great care of them

Nothing at all!

Where to start! Francesca was so very kind and helpful from the very first moment we booked, and was so sweet, she even upgraded us! She even gave us her list of favourite local places to eat at - and we did have the BEST Bisteca Fiorentina of our lives thanks to her recommendation, at Osteria da Ganino! The apartment was absolutely beautiful and it made us feel like we lived in Italy as locals - our view overlooked a small courtyard with lemons growing abundantly, the smells of which wafted up! And the location was the most perfect ever - Michaelangelo's 'The David' was literally across the doorway! We even managed to get in at 6pm without any lines to see perhaps the world's most iconic sculpture! Other must-see attractions were a 20 minute walk away at most, which made it so easy! The apartment was beautiful, tastefully furnished and well stocked - we could not ask for any more! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Florence experience! Grazie Mille Francesca!

Large, elegant lodging across the street from the Accademia (Michelangelo's David) and a few blocks from the Duomo. Every aspect of the apartment--beds, baths, kitchen, sitting area--was flawlessly appointed and maintained. Our hostess, Francesca, was warm, gracious, and helpful to us. It was a complete pleasure to stay in this historic building for three days and experience the greatness of Firenze.

Everything was nice

This was such a lovely experience: huge apartment with vey high ceilings, just behind the Accademia and a short walk to Duomo. The room was nicely warm in January, kitchenette (though we did not cook), and the host is very helpful and friendly, replied quickly to all my questions and gave an excellent list of restaurants etc.

That we spent only one night there

Francesca is the most amazing host ever. She's the most devoted and friendly person that I had the pleasure of meeting while staying at someone's place. The apartment is spotless, spacious and fully functional. It's an outstanding place, with the touch of been a "Residenza di Epoca" - meaning a historical building with typical decoration. Location wise is in the heart of Firenze, walking distance to every possible attraction.

The only weaknesses is that it is hard to find the parking lot and connect with the apartment maintainer.

The whole apartment was kept clean and comfortable. And its location is very near the duomo. It was very convenient for us.

Truly lovely, old building that’s had modern conveniences added without removing the original flavor. Right next to the Academy, and just down the way from the cathedral and so much else. Easy (as can be) to get to places of interest, and the lift meant our whole group could get to wherever. Franchesca is absolutely wonderful as well, responsive and very accommodating and knowledgeable about the city.

We knew to pick an apartment on the garden side of the building as it can get quite noisy on the Academia facing side. Having said that the noise from people waiting for entrance to the Museum was only during the day so it really would have not mattered as we were out enjoying the beautiful city of Florence.

Fantastic property in a great section of Florence. Francesca and her team were very helpful and responsive to all our needs. Bravo!

Time for an update, but Francesca said that’s set to happen this winter. Shower really needs a new shower head, as the hard water has minimized the flow.

Great location! The garden view apartments are much quieter than the street view, as crowds start to gather pretty early at the entrance to the Academia, which is right outside the door.

We were out most of the day so it wasn’t an issue for us but the noise from people lined up to go to the gallery was high. It was very busy.
