Deserves five stars rather than four.

It was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived on the steps to leaving. Truly our most memorable stay in our three week Italy trip. We felt like we were family but in, what should be, a five star hotel. The food at the hotel had some of our favorite meals during our entire trip. We never expected to feel at home but at Palazzo, we did. The colors, design and gardens of the hotel are breathtaking. We really could go on and on.

Pricey. Rooms a little on small side, sparsely furnished. Not many drawers, shelves, tables for cloths. Dinner very expensive & too precious over the top . 28 $ usd for shot glass of lentil soup . Much better dinner & lunch options within 3 minute walk.

Fabulous location. Outstanding grounds. Included breakfast to die for. Staff Extremely helpful with arranging transfers to/from airport ,reservations, recommendations etc .Best btead in the world.

Everything at this hotel is perfect. The staff was all so kind and accommodating. They gave us excellent suggestions when it came to getting around and made sure we had access to everything we wanted. The room was breathtaking, and the view from our room was magnificent. They gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate when we arrived. The bar and food were delicious, and the breakfast buffet had a large selection. We are going to definitely come back here again and recommend it to all our friends.

What a wonderful stay we had at Palazzo Murat … a beautiful property, great facilities, a fantastic location, and the staff…especially at the front desk…were above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend a stay here. You won’t regret.

The grounds and the staff were truly top notch. I want to thank Marco for helping me with dinner every night. I was diagnosed with a serious stomach condition before my trip to Italy. I have to be on the bland food for the foreseeable future and I had so much anxiety about this trip. Marco went above and beyond to make sure my meals were safe and delicious at the same time. Rosita is honestly one of a kind. She is so warm and passionate. She made my day with how kind she was. Maria is also such a kind soul and so in tune with all of the guests. This hotel was the highlight of our trip!

Staff was outstanding, polite and went over and beyond to make sure we were happy... we parked in their parking lot and they made it easy, by portering our bags to our room. Great food on site and breakfast was delicious, many choices and all quality...you can't beat the location! This is our 4th trip to Positano and we will be staying here next time!

super beautiful : rooms, garden, patio, cinemaroom, bar,... excellent and friendly staff; open kitchen in which you can eat : great idea ! BBQ on a big table outside with all guests and hosts: wonderful; not cheap but you get a lot in return and you know the price beforehand :) we will return when we are in the neigbourhood; thanks to all, Karl and Marleen

Old part of the hotel is gorgeous, we were in a lovely room in the newer wing. Massive selection at breakfast buffet. Location was perfect. Extremely friendly staff.

Delicious italian breakfast, chocolate croissant was the best. Rooms were big, staff was lovely. Rosita gave us really good advice on how to visit Capri. The location is excellent!
