    Nothing really....

The hotel is perfectly situated in Asti.....close to train station, cafes, bars, restaurants and old town centre. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they have high standards .

A little warmer in the room. No big complaints really; only small niggles. It's a nice place to stay.

The best bit for us was the fact that they had a nice restaurant there - Laura's - on the first floor with a really nice maitre 'd called Luca - who gave us a delicious pre-starter and picked out a lovely wine for us - and then gave us a marvellous pudding wine not unlike dry sherry. The food was really good and we greatly enjoyed eating there. The bedroom was big which was good, and the bed large and comfortable, but the coverlets slid down and it became cold at times, I also wasn't keen on a jacuzzi-type bath - because that sort of thing you can't really keep fresh and you associate it more with your own home - or a gym. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable set-up and restful for travellers. The parking arrangements are very sound and secure, but somewhat complicated.

Shower in handicap bathroom was a bit strange ... no drain in the floor, which after a shower left a pool of water on the floor. However, by morning it was gone - the bathroom must use some sort of de-humidifier to dry it up.

Staff was very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure our family was comfortable. Location was excellent - lots to see and do within walking distance. Breakfast (included) was very tasty and had decent variety. Rooms were quiet and dark, which make sleeping pleasant.

This is NOT equivalent to a four star hotel.

Laura's restaurant was good for dinner, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

    Nothing really ...

Location, staff, food and general feel of the hotel. Located near train station, old town and all amenities. Great staff who look after you well from reception, catering and house keeping.
