    Airco was a bit noisy

The best was the very warm Italian atmosphere, no resort but a good location where you can find beaches and good restaurants on walking distance.

Great courtesy from the entire staff. Since the hotel was not entirely full, we received a very appreciated upgrade to a family room with balconies and sea view. The room has just been renovated with an excellent bath with chromotherapy and modern shower. We also appreciated a lot the rooftop terrace where we had breakfast and a drink at night time.

The overall atmosphere is “run down“, it’s an old building and it shows. The furniture is old style but in no way giving the impression of exclusivity. We had problems with a noisy airco system even if turned off and changed room to another one where the noise from the busy street was unpleasant and the bathroom was very old

Nice firm mattresses, the (few) renovated bathrooms are very nice, clean. The rooftop terrace where breakfast is served creates a pleasant atmosphere with great views and good quality food

Breakfast could have been better. There wasn't a good choice of teas and no milk provided for black tea. There could have been more cooked and fresh items, different fruits, avocado etc rather than the large selection of cakes and pastries.

Super comfortable bed, nice shower room with large towels changed daily. Great sea view (ask for a room that isn't just behind the petrol station).

When we originally planned the trip, my husband had lost most of his mobility. With that in mind, I had chosen hotels with restaurants. However, January in Sicily is not prime tourist season which turned out to mean that although breakfast was served each day, no other meals were available in the hotel. Fortunately, by the time we left for Italy a change in medication had restored much mobility and we were able to get food at a grocery store a short walk away. Other restaurants were sometimes open but often not.

The hotel is wonderfully unique with fun tilework and many original pictures. The owners and staff are very kind and helpful. Fresh squeezed juice and coffee made by the cup were accompanied by breads, cakes, croissants, meats and cheeses. I especially liked the scrambled eggs made upon request. The room looked out over the water and was very clean. And, they recycle waste!

Parking is a slight problem, but the staff couldn't have been more helpful in finding a space for us.

We loved this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the sea. Gorgeous view. We enjoyed eating meals on the roof terrace. The decor everywhere was so lovely. The breakfast choice was amazing and the Sicilian dinners were fabulous. Situated in Giardini Naxos makes it easier to travel by car to other towns, rather than being in Taormina up on the hill.

While parking is available, there are only 3 spots reserved for hotel guests so be prepared to find parking along the street and pay for it. While not expensive, it was unexpected. Dinner at the hotel is expensive, but many less expensive, fantastic dining options in the vicinity

The staff was very friendly on arrival. They actually offered me an upgraded room which was fantastic. I chose an ocean view which was well worth it. Can open the windows and get a nice breeze or close the windows and automatic shutters for privacy and silence. Was a beautiful view from the room or could go to the restaurant on the top floor and have a fantastic view while enjoying wine. Had a complimentary welcome beverage which was perfect. Breakfast was plentiful with large selection of typical Italian breads, yogurt, fruit, bruschetta.

Hotel Palladio is a lovely small family run hotel directly opposite a beautiful beach club with excellent facilities and restaurant. The hotel itself had a wonderful rooftop restaurant offering a great breakfast and evening dining - views from here are amazing. It is directly opposite a bus stop with easy access toTaormina and other places in Sicily. The lovely promenade opposite allows easy walking to many beach side restaurants, sights and shops. We must also mention the friendly caring staff, especially Irena on the front desk.

The street and the gas station in front of our room made it a bit smelly and noisy at times. The restaurant is very good but quite expensive. The cheaper room didn`t have enough cupboard space and the bathroom was quite old (but clean!!)

The roof terrace is very very beautiful (both for breakfast and for drinks/dinner in the evening). The majority of staff was very friendly and very helpful. It is convenient to have the bus stop so close by. Very good and varying selection of different dishes for breakfast. The more expensive room was new, beautiful and spacious.

The traffic is a bit noisy as the hotel is on the main road in and out of Giardini Naxos. Its no fault of the hotels, and is mainly the noisy motorbikes. Otherwise great location across from the beach and right near the bus stop to go to Taormina.

This is a great boutique hotel and the rooms and décor are wonderful with beautiful Italian tiles and fantastic colours and art throughout the hotel. The rooftop terrace is amazing and the breakfast and dinners at the hotel are great. They provide the dinner menu each morning and they will shop for the local produce and cook for you that night. You cant get fresher than that. The staff are all very friendly and happy to assist with any requirements. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Our beds were made and towels changed every day, but the floors were not washed a single time during our 7-day stay, so all the sand you bring on your shoes from the beach will stay in the room until you leave. The breakfast was ok but it wouldn't hurt to add meat, fish or sausage to it.

The view from the balcony was fabulous, the staff was friendly, everything you need (shops, beaches, restaurants) is within walking distance, the design and furniture of the room were really tasteful and classy.

There are only a few parking spaces for hotel guests so parking is generally on a meter along the road. That said, it's not expensive and we never had a problem finding a space.

The staff cannot do enough for you. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and will happily recommend an itinerary for the day. The breakfast is really good as is the roof terrace restaurant. The bus for Taormina stops directly in front of the hotel.

Hotel Palladio is a wonderful place to stay. From the welcoming staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble to the enchanting rooftop restaurant, serving delectable local specialities, our stay was a truly memorable experience. We loved our spacious room, with balcony overlooking the sea, and were most impressed by the hotel's commitment to providing exceptional Sicilian dishes using the freshest local ingredients. With a menu that changed daily, there was plenty of variety. The staff were ever-ready with help and advice, and unfailingly polite and professional. Highly recommended.

Bad: Be aware that the “short walk” from the train station Taormina-Giardini is 1.5 km and takes about 20 mins. The internet, which never remembers your login details, is fine for searching but hopeless for uploading photos. On our first night we tried the hotel restaurant but thought the food was mediocre and expensive.

Good: The property is located 3km from Taormina but there’s a bus service for €3 return right outside the hotel. The room we booked was the attic room, that was very nice, but then we managed to get a free upgrade to a much larger room and bathroom with balcony plus a sea view.. fantastic! The breakfast was excellent, fresh orange juice, tasty coffee and a large choice of local specialities. Really friendly and helpful English speaking staff.

And police sirens were sounding all the time day and night, and the hotel is not placed in the nicest part of the resort, the buildings and shops in the surrounding aria had not had much love and care also there was nothing going on everything was about 10 minuets walk.

The hotel was quite different in decor, with lots of color, every were, our room (24) was lovely lots of space and a good view of the sea from our small balcony the shower room was very spacious, and the linen and towels were very good quality. This is the noisiest hotel location imaginable and impossible to enjoy as it is like sleeping on the highway, despite the double-paned glass. Two busy roads envelop both sides of the hotel, making for constant loud vehicle noise. It is a very unrelaxing situation overall, as while the hotel is nice enough, it is right on the road in this fairly unattractive beach town. The beach is close by, it should be noted. The rooms are pedestrian and the beds are not comfortable.
