Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThere was a bit of noise from the people in the room above us - we could hear them walking around and dropping things on the floor.
Such a fabulous location, all tourist sites were within walking distance. Matteo was very helpful and provided us with a map of Rome and recommendations for places eat/drink. The room was clean, comfortable bed and had great air conditioning. My partner needed to do a bit of work so it was great to have a communal area available.

MexicoI would probably recommend housekeeping for the room once a day.
The facilities are amazing, comfortable, and very close to the center of Rome. The staff is very friendly — 100% recommended.

DenmarkWe had a great stay here it is perfectly located to be able to walk almost anywhere while also being a quiet area. Everything was clean and the room has everything you would need for a short stay (including aircon which was great after a day of exploring Rome in summer!) Check in/out was seamless and we were given lots of recommendations which were very helpful!

CanadaA bit small but it’s Rome! Not really a complaint. Just an observation.
Location. Perfect jump off spot to many attractions. Quiet street. Loved the breakfast. Coffee and beautiful, tasty pastry and juice to start the day. Very clean.

Great location, 20-30 walk to most attractions. Fabulous spacious room with funky decor and very comfy. Great communication with Matteo, who met us there for checkin, the day before we travelled and on the day. Lots of info and recommendations given for the area too.

United KingdomThe location couldn’t be beaten- 10 minutes walk to most of the central Rome tourist attractions! Communication regarding check in was clear and responses were prompt. Matteo met us to check in and showed us how everything worked. The breakfast of a hot drink and a croissant was a great start to each day. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome!

United KingdomThe shower has to be left on for ages to heat up - same with the sink which means washing hands and face is quite irritating. I don’t think the free breakfast would be enough for some people (Only a pastry + a coffee). Despite this I still think it was good value for money.
Bed was very comfy. Good amount of storage and the TV was great. Also good little communal area and the location is fab, everything within walking distance. USB-c ports built in the wall means you don’t need a travel adapter.

United KingdomThe room was a bit dark, no view (only a large drainpipe) from the window. Make sure you have the correct change for the tourist tax as we paid €40 and no change was given.
The location is central to all tourist attractions. Matteo met us and explained the door codes etc. He left us a map explaining how far places were and suggestions for places to eat and visit. Our room was on the second floor, fridge and coffee maker supplied. The room was modern, clean and well presented. Large double/king size bed was comfy and pillows were plump. The walk in shower was lovely and after a few minutes was very hot. Plenty of wardrobe space. There is a kitchen on the third floor with a kettle and sink. Breakfast is by way of a voucher for the local cafe, one based either end of the alleyway. We opted for the one overlooking Argentina square which was nice. You get a choice of pastry, a coffee and a glass of juice. We did have drinks at the other (T's abar) in the evening, Marco is a character! This is NOT a hotel or guest house, it is an apartment.

ItalyNothing.
I had a wonderful stay here at Pantheon Suites Rome. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern design and top-quality furnishings throughout the newly renovated property. It was also very quiet, with excellent natural light. The bed was very comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better—everything is within walking distance. The check in and check out process was extremely easy and efficient. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Rome. The room was incredible spacious and comfortable.
