The accommodation is on a busy road but the double glazing and shutters keep the noise out and the air con kept the room at a comfortable temperature.

The owner/manager was extremely friendly. Although his English was limited, we were able to communicate without any issues through google translate. The breakfast was superb and tailor made to our requests. The location is perfect for travel with the Alibus stop which goes to the airport and the main train station just opposite. The room and facilities were basic but clean and comfortable.

Great breakfast, good selection of bread, cold cuts, cheese etc. plus sweet treats. Camillo makes great cappuccinos. Excellent location with airport bus stop right aaaaoutside, and there are literally hundreds of restaurants and shops within an easy walk. And majestic Mt Etna looming right at the end of the street.

Carmelo is such a nice host, very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was great and so were the facilities. Great location and the room was very spacious and clean. Highly recommended and will surely visit again next time we're in Catania.

We had a wonderful stay at Papali hotel! The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. Each morning, we were treated to delicious breakfasts. The room was spotless and very comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic as well—right on the main street in Catania, making it easy to explore the city. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The owner went out of his way to meet us and welcome when we arrived quite late after a delayed flight. The room was clean, spacious, and in a great location. Right in the main street, 10 minutes walk from the sights. Bus stops were nearby. Most of all, the breakfast was brilliant. Great value.

The host is super friendly and responsive. I think he listens to people's feedback and improves the property and the service. Even though the host didn't speak English, it wasn't a problem to communicate with the help of a translator. The full proper breakfast was served by the host, including fresh pastries bought on his way to the property. We lived in a quadruple room and didn't notice anything bad. Overall, the property and its host made a positive impression on us.

Warm and friendly welcome! Excellent location in the City Centre. Clean and comfortable room with air conditioning. Quiet and restful environment that is great value for money. I would happily recommend to others and plan to stay again.

Everything was perfect for our stay

Delightful B & B with a very welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast including a variety of Sicilian pastries. The location was perfect to explore the city, a short walk down into the centre for our family with two children. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner was so kind and helpful.

Great central location with easy paid parking on street behind the property. Superb breakfast offered by a super friendly host. Room was comfortable and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

They were very kind to us. We were due to stay at another property but that was cancelled last minute as we were arriving too late as our flight was delayed. We were able to check in here after midnight and park our car nearby with only a few hours notice. We were able to check out 20 minutes late to catch up on some sleep. We felt very grateful to have stayed here.

If you are not used to the layout of older Italian buildings with their cavernous ground floor entryways with a portone, you might be shocked at first with its cave-like qualities, but I kind of like this kind of building.

The location is great- right across the street from the airport bus stop and the major sights to see are a short walk away. The host was welcoming and generous and the room comfortable and quiet.
