I much enjoyed the private beach, the lovely gardens, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the spa, the delicious meals, and above all the kindness and professionalism of all the staff (from the reception, to the wellness area and restaurant - my compliments to the chef!)

most guests were German so felt more like Germany than Italy within the hotel. Surrounding area very quiet in the evenings.

    beautiful views across the sea.

Even being a returning guest, we were not offered a better price. The room was miniscule (we had classic double)

We are returning to the hotel for the second year. The location is fantastic, few steps away a private beach, a selection of perfect restaurants. Hotel facilities are very good, especially the pool, but i felt it is becoming a bit run down (few wirls were not working). Breakfast is rich.

Beautiful beach, well maintained facility and wonderful staff. Maximus was super helpful; he had great recommendations on restaurants and what to do on the Island. Breakfast was delicious and staff in the restaurant very attentive. Finally the spa was super relaxing with great variety of treatments. Overall it is a great place for vacation!

There was nothing not to like.

This place is an absolute delight! The location is perfect, the staff couldn't be more helpful and our bedroom which was a superior double was beautifully decorated and looked out over the gorgeous pool and beach. Our beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We will certainly return and could not fault this hotel in any way.

    nothing was missing

This hotel is a real pearl. It is situated on the south side of the island of Ischia, far from other busy resorts but within easy reach by public transport of the town of Ischia where there is plenty of entertainment. The hotel offers everything that makes you relax, thermal mineral baths indoors and outdoors as well as easy access to their own beach. The staff of the hotel do everything to accommodate your wishes and the restaurant has a fine choice of Italian food. Rooms with a sea view cost extra but it is well worth the difference for some spectacular views on this interesting stretch of coast.

Possibly a little expensive if you book rooms on frontage and breakfast was just ok

The hotel on beach front and in extremely quiet location all restaurant and cafe food provided by huts on beach. No village centre or shops nearby but San Angelo only short walk away and well worth a visit. Rooms very comfortable, pools great and always plenty of unreserved sun loungers available either by pool of on the beach.

Spa was less than i expected, perhaps given the previous experience at a 5star hotel Regina Isabella. The variety and quality of performance was much less than i exoected. The staff were extra nicce regardless!

Beach is a simple few steps out the gate of the property- very convenient. All meals were great (had half pension)!

Just be aware that if you need to go anywhere you need to take a bus/cab. Single rooms have no balcony.

    1. Located at the best beach area of the island. (It takes app. 35 min by bus #5 from the port). And the hotel has its own equipped beach - actually, it is situated on the beach, you can sleep listening to the sea-waves in the evenings. A big "Carrefour" supermarket is 5 min by bus from the hotel. 2. Comfortable, carefully renovated rooms. Good furniture. Refrigerator. 3. Everything is spotlessly clean. New thick towels. 4. Fresh tasety breakfast. 5.Helpful cheerful personnel. 6. Fantastic termal zone (included into the room price) - do not spend you time and money going to termal parks of the island - you will not find there better pools!

    All good!

Just returned after spending 10 days in Ischia. We spent the first 5 days at Ischia Ponte near the old town and wanted the second 5 days at a beach location with a nice sea view. We have been to Ischia before but had never stayed at Maronti Beach and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is situated right on the beach so you have the option of rolling out of bed and hitting the pool or a few steps more and you’re on the hotel’s private beach with complimentary beds and umbrellas. The facilities at the hotel are excellent with an indoor thermal pool and spa and an outdoor thermal pool as well. We stayed in a superior room with sea view, which was a good size, nicely furnished and had a balcony with a lovely view across the pool to the sea. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and ate out in the evening, so cannot comment on the lunch or dinner. There are many very good restaurants virtually on the doorstep of the hotel, all with lovely sea views as they are right on the beach! This makes for a very relaxing and stress free evening. Two restaurants I would recommend highly are Ida and Nettuno. The breakfast at the hotel was good with a variety of fruit juices, cold meats, cheeses, cereal, fruit breads and croissants. The bar has a very nice veranda with marvellous views and a lovely sunset, where one can enjoy a glass of prosecco before dinner. St Angelo is quite a walk or can be reached by water taxi further along the beach (very chic and well worth the visit). Maronti Beach is somewhat remote from public transport so if you want to explore the island there are probably better options as this is definitely a place you come to relax and chill. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again when visiting the island and I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel especially for it’s superb beach location.

Food was very good, however at breakfast they simply didnt have enough of it.

Surprisingly high standard at a hotel on a remote coast on a fairly remote island. Everything works! You will even have wi-fi at the pool, actually it also worked on the beach! Hard to find anything to complain about.

This hotel has been owned and managed by the same family for almost 50 years, which you do not see often nowadays. Many successful hotels have been taken over by large chains and streamlined, but this one both has the high level of service you would expect from a 5 star hotel, even though it only has a 4 star rating, and at the same time kept a very unique charm and atmosphere. The rooms, the garden, the pool area and the beach are all very clean and beatiful maintained and the breakfeast is a lot better than the usual Italian standard. If you get the option for half or full board dont miss it, wine and food in the restaurant are excellent and well served.
