Many homeless people sleep on the streets around Termini station and it's not very pleasant to pass by them on the way to the hotel or when going out of the hotel.

It's not luxury, but it's clean and the staff was very nice. We stayed for 4 nights and they changed our sheets after second night. They offered to book tickets to Vaticana and The Coliseo and gave us city map. Very close to Termini.

The street outside does not add to the hotel unfortunately and can get a bit smelly but look past this and it’s a great stay location, opposite the train and bus station. The hotel does not have an elevator but such helpful staff carried my bags up and the stais were great exercise.

Shower was very powerful which I didn’t expect being on the top floor but a wonderful surprise. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and had awesome views and air conditioning.

Their restaurant is being renovated and the only food or drink available was via vending machine. No elevator but it's only three floors high. DO ask for a lower room if you have difficulty with steps. No phone in room to contact the front desk.

Convenient to walk to Trains, Metro, both A&B to St. Peter's/Vatican & Colosseum attractions, Hop-on Hop-off buses even closer 400m. Good for budget travellers. Rear rooms had a view over the gardens of the museum next door which was a bonus. Good air-conditioning. A must even in shoulder season because Rome is hot & sweaty. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Our shower drainage was clogged at room 40. It is at the 3rd level which made it difficult for my 80yr. old aunt to climb. However, that is still manageable but what is repugnant is the strong smell of urine as you pass the short street that leads to the hotel. The management should seriously take action against this abominable practice of bypassers who shamelessly urinate on the trees and museum walls. This destroys the image and reputation of this nice hotel...

Great location vis-a-vis Roma Termini at a little side street after passing the huge parking lot for the city buses and exactly at the backside of the archeological museum of Palazzo Massimo alle Terme. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is free internet but they don't offer breakfast. However, they do have a vending machine with warm & cold drinks and small snacks. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants anyway within the vicinity. We'll be back due to its good service and convenient location! As an added bonus, they have a lovely patio covered with cascading vines and plants with several garden seats and tables where one can have some minutes to relax and cool down from the vicious Roman summer heat... 😎😎😎

We just loved it there. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful. Close to Termini and next to Terme di Diocleziano. The view from the balcony-room is stunning - right into the garden of the museum (baths of Docletian). Just to sit on the balcony and look around feels like having a moment in paradise. The balkony room is a small double room and very tiny, also the bathroom is tiny and to take a shower is rather a challenge ;-), but there is also a bidet, so it's really managable if you're not too demanding or physically restricted. Although the receptionist asked us for understanding the Antique building and to switch on the water 2 minutes before showering to become warm, it was not necessary, we always had immediately warm water! The room was cleaned every day properly and we always received fresh towels. The WiFi was always working very well - even much better than in more expensive hotels we stayed until yet! No bugs in the room - so don't worry. Please don't trust the bad reviews! Of course the rooms could have new paintings and some repairs - but don't forget: you book a low budget stay! So price and performance are really okay together. We paid appr. Euro 33,- p.P. for the small double-bed room with bathroom and amazing balcony and for this amount you usually just can stay at a hostel with a bed in a dormitory and a shared bathroom! The Hotel will be perfect for young people and older ones, who are young at heart, like us. If you are sophisticated you should book a different type of hotel, where you have to pay around Euro 100,-- and more p.P. and night! The atmosphere makes up for the little things and the staff is just great.
