The hotel was close to a high speed rail line which was not stated in the description. The room was stated to have a sea view - it was possible to see a bit of the sea but only a few meters in the distance from the gap between the 2 buildings either side and directly in front of us.

The hotel is quite far from the airport and the taxi called by the receptionist was both times really expensive compared to the prices of anything in this area. I recommend to rent a car (even though fuel is also relatively expensive here). Only one of the receptionists spoke English but she was usually very quiet.

The hotel is pretty small with only about 7 rooms which makes it very friendly. It is located very close to the beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The staff is very nice, even though there was only one receptionist who spoke some English. By the end we somewhat understood the other lady too as she was very energetic and helpful even without saying a word. Everything was perfectly clean the whole time. The cleaning lady always came while we had breakfast and she was very quick and thorough. The breakfast was just the best! Different food every day with not too many options but super tasty so it never got boring. The breakfast room was small but never really full as there was also a terrace and the guests came at different times. I recommend this hotel to anyone who speaks a little Italian as this was probably the only obstacle during our stay.

Trains run all day & night just behind the hotel. The hotel is made of cinder blocks and marble - nice looking but every noise echoes and bounces down the halls and up the stairwells. Some carpeting in the halls and sound proofing between the rooms would be helpful. The breakfast was minimal

The hotel was very clean. The balcony on the room was nice. And the staff was friendly and welcoming.

No Wi-Fi in the room as well as no sea view as advertised and paid for a service never received.

Vicinity to the beach, personnel kindness and room cleaning.

Air con useless and wifi difficult. No restaurant as listed on Booking. Ate at Luca's (hotel owner) beach bar/pizza/restaurant which was just that - a beach bar/pizzeria.

Friendly owner - (needed to phone as hotel locked when we arrived.) Bikes locked away.

Personal doesn't speak English at all. Although the hotel is not far away from airport, it's not a good idea to stay here before your flight. I asked for taxi at the reception and was waiting for my taxi for almost 40 minutes (almost lost my flight). It of course is not about hotel - just the village of Gizzeria is quite sleepy which can be a problem if you are in the schedule.

Hotel is excellent for the price. Very clean, near the beach. Even breakfast (croissant and coffee) is included in price.
