Stayed here for four nights mid July. Really sorry for the late review..... ma meglio tardi che mai, Roberto? Roberto and Rebecca, were excellent hosts. We were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived and they provided superb hospitality to the moment we left. The setting is beautiful, with a terrific outlook across the Umbrian landscape and to the Tuscan hills. The sunsets were truly fantastic. Rooms, especially ours with a balcony, were comfortable and spacious. Given the extremely hot weather the well maintained pool was a really welcome asset. The restaurant, being in midsummer, out on the patio, was comfortable and picturesque. Delicious authentic and locally sourced food, beautifully cooked by Rebecca and described wonderfully by the maître d' for the evenings, Roberto. Absolutely no need to look anywhere else for an evening meal. The breakfasts on the same patio were idyllic and a great way to start the day. Ideally placed for visiting Lake Trasimeno, Assisi and Perugia and even into Tuscany, Florence, Sienna, Montepulciano. Not to forget the lovely hilltop towns nearby of Panicale, and, as recommended by Roberto, Paciano This is a truly great place to stay - but don't tell everyone....!!

We had a wonderful stay at Il Favaio guest house. The staff was helpful and nice. The breakfast options included continental or italian style cousine.

We had the most wonderful stay at Il Favaio as a family of five adults and two children. From the moment we arrived, Roberto and Rebecca made us feel completely at home – they are truly some of the kindest and warmest people we have ever met. Their hospitality went far beyond expectations and made our experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely incredible – fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. What touched us most was how thoughtful Roberto and Rebecca were with the children, preparing special dishes just for them according to their taste. This made the kids feel happy and included, and it made our family dinners even more enjoyable. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, offering everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. And the terrace – the view is simply breathtaking! It was the perfect spot to enjoy our meals together, a glass of wine, or simply to take in the beauty of the Umbrian countryside. We cannot recommend this agriturismo highly enough. If you are looking for a true Italian countryside experience with amazing hosts, delicious food, and stunning views, Il Favaio is the perfect place. We are already dreaming of coming back!

We stayed at Il Favaio as a family of 5 adults and 2 children and had an unforgettable experience. Roberto and Rebecca are the nicest people we’ve ever met – warm, welcoming, and especially wonderful with the kids, even preparing special dishes just for them according to their taste. The food was amazing, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. A perfect agriturismo for families or anyone wanting authentic hospitality, delicious meals, and stunning countryside views. We can’t wait to come back!

What Roberto and Rebecca have created is simply wonderful. A lovely farmhouse, set in the most wonderful landscape. This is a blissful retreat and it's been created with such purpose and intent, it's inspirational. Dinner (we had four there) beat, holistically, any meal I've had in London in years.

What an idyllic oasis. Roberto and Rebecca are the best hosts, describing food, recommendations for visits and help with local wine. Don’t bother trying local restaurants, have your evening meal here. A wonderful selection of their produce and local tastes. Some places expect that organic food is enough of a reason to eat there; this is not the case here. Their organic food produces great ingredients, buts it’s the actual meals themselves that are so flavoursome - down to the chef and the ingredients both. Highlights …. - fab breakfast with local (organic) ingredients …apple juice, coffee, yogurt, honey, hams, bread, jam, fresh cake etc - Pool is awesome - View from terrace for breakfast or evening meals - Location for exploring local hilltop towns (recommend Civita di Bagnoregio and Cortona) - a/c bedrooms with brilliant views - Visit the pigs, chickens, olives … you might even be lucky enough to see some wild deer. And the sunsets…. Thanks Roberto and Rebecca for the memories

Roberto & Rebecca are caring, helpful, and friendly. The farm to table experience was interesting and delicious. Rebecca is an amazing chef. The pool is really nice, and the views are breathtaking. I enjoyed playing with the dogs.

During our seven-day stay, we had a wonderful and unforgettable time here. Rebecca and Roberto are the very kind and friendly hosts of this amazing place. They, along with their staff, were extremely dedicated and helpful in every matter. Rebecca, a friendly and warm person, patiently advised us at breakfast. Roberto supported us at dinner. He also helped us identify the most interesting places to visit in the area. His suggestions proved to be very accurate and valuable. The place itself is spectacular. Situated on a hill, it offers stunning views of the surrounding area. Very good exposure of the pool with a wonderful view. Everything was clean and tidy. The apartment was spacious and airy. Mosquito nets on the windows kept out insects. In the restaurant, on the spacious terrace, we were served delicious breakfasts and excellent coffee. In the evenings, we enjoyed excellent dinners at an affordable price. Eating with a beautiful view of the sun setting behind the green hills was truly unforgettable. The three friendly dogs, who love to be petted by our kids, were an added bonus. I highly recommend this place, whether for a short or long stay.

immaculately looked after property, from the rooms, the pool, the gardens. it was a beautiful location! fantastic sunsets over the tuscan hills. amazing food available for breakfast and dinner. peaceful, relaxing, in a great spot to explore both umbria and tuscany. i had a scooter and could easily make day trips from here. was a mixture of solo, coupe and family travellers and they accommodated every type of traveller. they fully deserve their high rating and I highly recommend basing your stay around this great agriturismo.

During a trip with my mom, we had the pleasure of staying with Rebecca and Roberto, who were incredibly kind and warm hosts. From check-in to check-out, they greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel completely welcome and at ease throughout our stay. Their adorable and gentle dogs made the experience even more delightful—if you're an animal lover, you’ll especially enjoy it here. The property features a spacious, well-maintained outdoor area with breathtaking views that are hard to put into words. Surrounded by nature, the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere allowed us to truly unwind and relax. The pool was spotless, and there were plenty of shaded areas where we could lounge comfortably out of the sun. Our room was immaculately clean and tidy, with a spacious bathroom and a generously sized shower booth that made everything very convenient. One of the highlights of our stay was the dinner and breakfast. I was honestly amazed that such a high-quality, fine-dining-style dinner was available at such a reasonable price. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and varied—the perfect way to start the day. I’m usually quite picky about water, but even the still and sparkling water provided was surprisingly delicious. Every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness. The location was quiet yet convenient, making it easy to plan our itinerary. Overall, there wasn’t a single thing to complain about. Both my mom and I were extremely satisfied and had a truly joyful and memorable time. I would love to come back again someday. Thank you so much to Rebecca, Roberto, and their sweet dogs for creating such a special and heartwarming experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Il Favaio is a countryside dream, we had such a special time there. Rebecca and Roberto are amazing hosts, passionate about their farm and the food they’re producing. From the breakfast to the dinner, everything is locally sourced and we loved finding out where and how everything was made. Rebecca is an amazing chef, creating delicious dishes with simple ingredients. The pool is amazing, so tranquil with a gorgeous view over the countryside. The rooms are lovely, a great size and very clean. Towels are provided for both showering and the pool which is always welcomed! We loved every minute of our stay and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful hosts and great views. An immediately relaxing place to hang out - and I’ll be dreaming of Rebecca’s aubergine parmigiana forever!

THE BEST AGRITURISMO IN ITALY, HANDS DOWN. This place is the real deal. I mean the REAL and Genuine agriturismo where they use 30% of the food from their farm and 55% from nearby farms. This place has everything you could hope for and more: a large pool with breathtaking views, AMAZING dinners and breakfasts, and the WARMEST hosts, Rebecca and Roberto. They’re really passionate about their products and truly care about their guests. I would definitely come back later. Arrivederci!

We arrived late at 9.30 PM, and although the kitchen was closed, the hosts still made us a delicious meal. The food was excellent, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt truly taken care of and had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Quiet country stay. Loved the paddock to plate experience, with majority of local produce. Hosts Roberto and Rebecca were lovely and very accommodating.

The setting was beautiful, the food was delicious, and Rebecca and Roberto were kind, thoughtful, and really fun to be around. They put their hearts and souls into the place and it is obvious. Our room had a balcony with an incredible view and watching the sunset each evening was so lovely. We loved visiting with the other guests at breakfast and dinner, and it felt so warm and inviting to be there. I’ll be thinking about the sheep’s milk ricotta ravioli with lemon and sage (made with wheat, lemon, and sage that they grew) for a long time!

Rebecca and Roberto are wonderful hosts, really friendly and so kind. They made us feel like we were home. The room was very beautiful with view and very clean. The breakfast and dinner was delicious, homemade by Rebecca with products from their farm. There is a beautiful yard with a pool, where you can swim, drink your wine and relax. We are really excited and we will get back for sure. Highly recommended!

Every moment was filled with care and authenticity: from the beautifully prepared, generous breakfast where every wish was granted, to the outstanding meals crafted from fresh, local ingredients. The dry-aged beef was simply a dream — each bite a celebration of flavour, prepared with such love and mastery that it left us truly speechless. Our apartment was perfectly equipped and thoughtfully arranged, with comfortable beds that gave us the rest we needed to fully soak in the magic of the place. Every little detail reflected a spirit of passion, tradition, and an open heart. In addition to the perfect stay, Rebecca and Roberto went above and beyond by offering us wonderful tips for excursions and sharing the must-see spots in the region. Their recommendations brought us closer to the true essence of Umbria, making every outing an experience to treasure. We leave with full hearts, immense gratitude, and a deep sense of having found a home away from home.
