Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe really enjoyed our stay at Podere Campriano. The family is very friendly. The location was outstanding. Within walking distance to Greve. Pietro provided us with an outstanding tour of their winery and was passionate about their wines. An outstanding young man! Look forward to staying again in the future.

GermanyNothing to add here - everything was perfect!
At Podere Campriano you get a wonderful fusion of Tuscan charm and modern accommodation. The rooms are impeccably kept, clean and well-stocked. Elena and her family ensured that we were well taken care of. Breakfast was a delicious affair with a variety of options. The absolute highlight for us was the stunning view of the Tuscan landscape from the poolside - the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Greve is a 5-7 min walk downhill from the property, where you can enjoy some more delicious Tuscan food, and markets during the day. Thank you to Elena and her family for making our Tuscan holiday a memorable one.

What a beautiful place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect for exploring the area and so pretty. We could walk to town and one day rented bikes. Comfortable, spacious, clean. Everything we needed including a bottle of Chianti. The whole family was friendly and kind. We were able to join a group cooking class that I highly recommend. It was a highlight, and so much amazing food/wine! Breakfast was great too. We would love to come back one day!

New ZealandWe had a lovely stay at Podere Campriano. We had two very relaxing days exploring Greve and enjoying the pool and other facilities. Elena and her family were great hosts. The breakfast was great value, highly recommend. A large assortment of delicious home made foods, coffee and beverages. Our only regret was missing out on the cooking class! Make sure you book this well in advance if it's something you are interested in as it is available to anyone, not just guests.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and it was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. Elena and her family are so warm, welcoming, and made us feel at home. The house is in an ideal location in Chianti with panoramic views of the Tuscan hills. It was within walking distance to the town of Greve and within driving distance to several other amazing restaurants and wineries. The private cooking class with Elena was an amazing experience. We would definitely recommend Podere Campriano to all our friends and family and would love to come back and visit one day!

United States of AmericaLeaving.
Elena was phenomenal - so helpful and available and accommodating. The location was excellent, truly beautiful and breathtaking. The pool was a huge asset and made the heat of the Tuscan summer a benefit rather than a detriment. Podere Campriano's proximity to town was awesome, we took a bus to the town and then walked down for meals and sightseeing. While a car would have been helpful to go to further afield destinations, for our short stay we didn't need it and had an excellent time. We loved our time there and plan to return - highly recommended. We took the cooking class and learned to make a multi-course traditional Tuscan meal. It was PHENOMENAL, delicious, and included a wine-tasting experience with many of the vineyard's bottles opened in a small, fun, intimate experience.

AustraliaThere was nothing not to like about Podere Campriano. A beautiful Tuscan property on the outskirts of Greve run by a lovely family. Rooms were nicely sized with a view of the countryside, a complimentary Chianti Classico on overall, option for a 10 euro breakfast, 3 gorgeous dogs to greet us whenever we returned from a day out, a pool with a view of Montefioralle and surrounding Chianti hills. It was our favourite accommodation experience of our trip through Italy.

The breakfast was great and the cooking class was incredible (a must do if you stay here). My partner and I are big wine fans, and this wine was so amazing…. I wish we could have sent more home to Aus. Such a gorgeous family, wholesome vibes, beautiful dogs and beautiful restaurants and bars just a 3 minute walk away. I cannot speak more highly of this place. It feels like you are staying with your family that you haven't seen in a while, yet you have so much privacy. Breakfast is served in the wine cellar and is cooked fresh to your liking, surrounded by old wines and prosciutto hanging from the ceiling. The bedroom was split level with a lovely living room looking out to the view, the bathroom was also great and we had a little mini fridge to store our goods from the market. They left a bottle of wine in our room upon arrival which was an amazing touch! The major highlight was the cooking course. We paid to have it private and although it was expensive, it was so worth it and we would absolutely recommend everyone does it. Elena and Piotr taught us how to make focaccia, homemade pasta, fresh bread, chick liver pate and the most heavenly roast park, all in an open fire. The wine at the vineyard is also fantastic, the best we had in the region and we bought as many bottles as we could to take home. This place is the best value 'hotel' that we've ever stayed at and we can't wait to come back one day.
