The only thing that was tricky was the stairs going in and out of the bathroom , at night you had to be careful.

The staff were excellent at helping with suggestions of where to eat and go and super friendly. Nice breakfast, gorgeous views and a beautiful infinity pool. We liked our room , it was spacious and very clean. Super relaxing stay.

The bed in our room (Francesca) was very hard and we were only provided with one pillow each, although more were quickly provided when we asked for them. I asked if an extra blanket, topper or duvet could be added to the mattress to make it more comfortable and although this was quickly provided, the bed wasn’t re-made by housekeeping - I had to do this myself, removing all the covers and sheets - and the blanket was too small and thin to make any difference. So I had to re-make the whole bed using another blanket I found in the bottom of a wardrobe. A proper mattress topper, and some assistance from housekeeping to remake the bed would really have helped. There were also some issues with the water in the bathroom - on two mornings we were unable to have showers or flush the toilet for several hours. Breakfast was very nice but there wasn’t any variety each day and this could have improved it a little. The wonderful lady serving us at breakfast didn’t speak a word of English so we were unable to communicate about simple requests for boiled/poached eggs etc for our children. And although we loved the walk up to the main house for breakfast, we hadn’t realised it would be quite such a walk. The pool where we were was also much smaller than at the main house so I would recommend booking there instead.

Spectacular location and views and such a beautiful walk up to the main house each morning for breakfast. We also loved the infinity pool and the wine tasting and this was the perfect base for exploring the local area. What a special place and we will certainly recommend!

We had a room with attic accessed via shared (thus unusable) kitchen and living room. One night during our stay it was occupied by other guests, and we could hear all sounds coming from there, conversations, footsteps, etc. It was uncomfortable. Also because of the attic construction part of the room had low ceiling and was cramped.

Dinner was cancelled during our 3 day stay due to the lack of guests. Not a big problem, as the town of Certaldo was 5km away.

The room was ok, but the bathroom had a bit of a weird smell.

The accommodation was in a beautiful location, they had their own vineyards, olive trees and tastings. The staff was really friendly, lovely and helpful. The location of the accommodation was also really good for traveling and driving in Tuscany. The breakfast was also good.

The room was basic but comfortable however there was no fan or mosquito net in our room and the mosquitoes got the better of us.

Finding our room at night was a bit difficult since the property was rather dark and didn't have signs pointing to where to go. The key to the main area to access our room also gave us issues. When we lost our original covered parking spot on the road and had to find the other parking area, we were a bit confused and a parking sign would have been helpful.

Gorgeous property in San Gimignano area of Tuscany! Very quiet location on picturesque vineyards, room had vintage charm and comfy bed. Our room was not on the main property so we had to drive a little bit down the road to access. Unfortunatley, we weren't able to enjoy breakfast or dinner since we came and left rather quickly, but we were given a free bottle of their wine upon check-out. ;o)

The beds are really not comfortable, there is luck in elementary things in the apartment like: dish soap, coffee, no option for baby crib ( just for 30€ per night) , extra bags for trash, etc.

The presence of the mosquitos was not a welcoming surprise and we had to deal with...we were told that being close to a biological farm, the chimicals was not the case to be used over a certain amount so we comprehended the limited use of insecticide...

We stayed at Poderi Arcangelo for 3 days and 2 nights. Great experience, especially for the direct contact with the nature and the amazing green views. The pool was superclean and well-managed. Great wine and delicous meals. The friendliness and the service of the hosts was second to none!
