Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The fact the cars were all crammed in together and the hotel kept your keys to move cars around. We didn’t know this when we booked.
It was clean and very friendly, really good choice at breakfast too.

The hotel is quite outdated, everything seems from the 80s. 90s. Breakfast was not great.

The hotel rooms are a bit worn out but everything is clean.
Located in the city centre close to the beaches. Parking spaces on location if you are lucky.

Everything was a bit old and needs renovation. It's not easy to drive to the hotel (small and windy roads)

The pool is much smaller than expected. The hotel offers parking but doesn't actually have enough for all guests, which was frustrating as it was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. The shower cubicle was tiny.
Our room was tiny but it was a budget room. The air conditioning was very good and the staff were lovely.

The pool closes a bit too early.
The staff was very friendly, and the location is pretty good. The room was clean and spacious, had a big balcony. The pool was a fun addition to our stay.

A bit run down, could use a renovation. Could use more charging stations. Towels and bath cloths adequate but a bit thin. None of these issues was all that important to us .
Excellent staff. Great value. Breakfast . Good location. Free parking. Good AC. Nice balcony. Good closet space. Nice sized room.

Difficult to adjust room temperature as the heating was unable to be turned off. It is not the easiest hotel to find as it is up the hill along some quite narrow lanes.
We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival and given directions to the car park. The room was spacious and overlooked the pool with a peek of the ocean. Breakfast was very good. There is a path and stairs down to the main street which provides ample choice of bars and restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel offers a great view from the balcony and its location is very close to the beach, making it super convenient for beach lovers. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of options beyond the typical Italian sweet breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The beds were quite hard, the property needs a big renovation , we even had some black mold in the bathroom. Pretty sure this place was prime time back in the day, but it has lost its shine
It is closely located near the ocean, city center. Not sure why some reviews are negative about the breakfast, we thought it had a fine selection, although it’s better to get your coffee fix from Bar Sprint nearby

Although they have a parking lot, it is on availability which means if you take your car out for the day there may not be a spot available when you return. I think it would be great if the hotel would offer a bar outside breakfast and dinner hours, so you can still get some good Italian coffee. They do have a vending machine for coffee but it doesn’t take cards
The room was in old Italian style, spacious, had a balcony, and the staff is amazing.

There seems to be a problem with a smell coming from under the lift which was very unpleasant. Don't know how they can deal with it as it will probably mean major work. Luckily it isn't in the rest of the property, only in the lift
Very clean air conditioned rooms, comfortable beds with soft bedclothes, lovely pool, plentiful breakfast . Reception staff were very helpful explaining about local area and organising taxis to the beach for us.
