Absolutely everything except the bed, it was very firm. Restaurants in this small cove were outstanding! Easy bus to Sorrento right out front.

Our room was at the back of the hotel with a very noisy air-conditioning unit outside of which a large duct ran up the wall beside the balcony. Considering I requested a quiet room this was very disappointing. It is a pity the pool wasn't free for guests, the €20 per person charge may be refunded on beverages however one would probably spend the money or food or drink while at the pool anyhow.

Beautiful location. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with a excellent choice of food. Great selection of restaurants on the seafront beside the hotel and a great location to take boat trips from the jetty. Also very convenient to go for a day trip into Sorrento as local bus departs across from hotel, you can pay on the bus or buy ticket in local shop.

Our room had shoe footprints on the wall, a quick wipe with a wet cloth would clean it off. Makes it seem lazy when it’s not even attempted to been cleaned. The housekeeping staff also didn’t restock any body wash or soap for a 4 night stay.

The property is located right in front of the beach. There is a direct bus from right outside to Sorrento (about 1hr long journey), as well as very good boat tours you can do to Amalfi coast or Capri from right outside which the hotel helps organise, but best to book in advance. The location is quite remote and quiet otherwise even in high season. There’s only a few good restaurant options really. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, but hotel stay is definitely overpriced in this location unfortunately.

Only minor points but they added up… - Unfortunately when we arrived the room smelt of cigarette smoke. The staff did look into it but it wasn’t resolved and they didn’t offer any mitigation/ compensation. - you pay extra for use of the pool. - parking is an additional cost. - hotel nice but generally seems a little dated. - spa/ sauna is additional cost. - no iron in room and you have to ask at reception where it appeared they only had one iron/ ironing board in the whole hotel. - we requested a ‘later’ check out (1 hr later) but this was declined.

Great location with good views and close to the beach. Staff helpful on the whole. Would describe as an ‘authentic’ hotel which felt fitting for the type of holiday we were looking for . Good breakfast each morning. Beach towels available at no extra cost.

The reception staff are not very accomodating. We requested to have glasses in our room and were refused. They did not seem to want to help us with excursions at all. The pool on the roof is small and very hot and you must pay to use it. The rooms and furnishing are very tired and not in great condition.

Great location close to the beach. Restaurant staff were kind and helpful. The rooftop bar and restaurant are lovely at night. It has good music, great view and good food.

Bathroom flooded from the shower. In general, bathroom could have been a little nicer.

It’s a bit faded and needs a bit of an uplift. That said the room was comfortable and having a private balcony are made a big difference. It’s also a shame the hotel charges extra for use of the rooftop pool, at 25 euros pp is an expensive charge for a very small swimming pool.

The location was great, across the beach and local restaurants. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Minor complaints - given price - soft drinks in mini bar/fridge should be complimentary? Or at least put some pricing information in or near the fridge to make the system clear. I did also have to clean the shower tray waste as it was draining very slowly and blocked with (not our) hair!

Guests have to pay $25 per person to use the pool. It is more expensive than renting chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The pool is very small and the value is not there.

The staff and location was the best part. We loved all the staff, they were so kind, nice and helpful!!! The location of Puntacamponella is the best, that’s the value… but the people make it the best experience. Stayed for 1 week and I’d do it again… my ONLY suggestion is to get rid of the pool fees. For 25€ per person, that’s 150€ for my family and I can go to the beach and get all the chairs and umbrellas for 50. Pool was dirty and so small… not even for adults. If the pool was included, this wouldn’t even be a suggestion and I would understand. Take it this way… I would spend more money staying in the hotel because the food is good and people are great, but when I’m charged for a pool per person, based off of principle I’m going to spend that money somewhere else. Missed out on a lot of drinks but charging this fee, just my suggestion…

For the price, they should offer a place at the beach and a towel. Also, to ask for 25€ to be in a swimimg pool for babies doesn't make any sense. Make it free!

the pool area was a charge and when we went to use they said it closed at like 6pm. Think this should not be a charge as there is no other outdoor space for guest to enjoy ,

Rooms are ok but could use some upgrades. Staff was not particularly friendly when asked to leave the car a couple of extra hours (paying the extra time of course). They forced me to take the car at 11am sharp even if we are off season and the hotel is clearly empty
