You can't walk into town easily, but this is a small point.

Convenient location just outside Radda. Super helpful and friendly staff, especially given our flight was cancelled and we arrived 24 hours late! Pool is a decent size, and spotless, lovely sun loungers, decent breakfast. Lovely views, comfortable bed, more than met our expectations.

The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner (we new this beforehand), but there was an aperitivo offer. Strangely you had to wear swim caps in the pool, haven’t seen this in ages… not sure why.

All in all a good spacious hotel, good breakfast. We had the impression that it was not fully booked, therefore not too crowded at the pool even during peak time. Friendly staff, great view from the panoramic terrace.

The bathrooms in both rooms were dirty when we arrived. Toothpaste stains were left at the side of the sink (in one room) from the previous guests. In the other room, the sink was dirty underneath. We did ask for the rooms to be cleaned better but nothing changed. The food for the aperitivo (that you could buy), at the bar, looked like it had been there for hours in the heat ...not looking fresh at all.

All the staff that we met were all kind and nothing was too much trouble, they were all really welcoming. The pool was really refreshing during the heatwave! The layout of the hotel and the breakfast was thankfully fresh and good. The location suited us well too. The parking area was large with lots of places to park.

Restaurant was fully booked, so had to go to local restaurants for dinner, no local taxis, so had to drive. In Chianti region and could not sample the wine!!!

Excellent breakfast and a hotel in Chianti countryside has got to be good.

We understand it’s for cleanliness of the facilities but you had to wear a bathing cap in the pool which was not particularly comfortable

The staff is the most accommodating. Helped us plan excursions, dinner and more. The property is breathtaking, the grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are extremely clean. The spa offers great services as well- I loved the Sports Massage just perfect for relaxation and unwinding during a busy trip.

As many others said, the hotel should be refurbished. It's a 4* and it's clean but a bit run down and therefore may seem less clean than what it is. Just a few things really: a bit of painting where there are stains, changing the shower appliances, different bed linens.

The staff is amazing, really helpful and nice. The location is gorgeous and very close to the town of Radda but yet in a quiet area. We really loved having breakfast in the terrace and the breakfast was varied and delicious. We tried also the restaurant for lunch and the food was yummy. The swimming pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and big umbrellas, and there are plenty of spa services.

CHD RADDA hotel is in an excellent location for travelers. The hotel is on a hill with a beautiful view of the Tuscan surroundings. The hotel staff is cordial and helps with everything efficiently, quickly and with a smile. The breakfast is good. The rooms are comfortable, although a bit old and relatively simply decorated. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The air conditioning in the rooms is excellent, and the beds are very comfortable The hotel pool is outdoor and small but clean and definitely sufficient. The hotel definitely gives full value for your money

The hotel had a lot of rules. The hotel was not shuttle service in Radda town and in Radda has't any taxi service (2 km). Walking on the narrow road would have been too dangerous. - Make a reservation at the hotel's restaurant in time because there are not enough seats in the hotel's restaurant for all customers. - the service was slow and inefficient at breakfast, lunch and in the pool area

The hotel looked beautiful and modern, room size, aircon, beds, cleaning, food ( if you have reservation ).

A lovely hotel in calm and peaceful surroundings. Good location for visiting Florence and Siena by car. Large and comfortable room and bathroom. Nice restaurant and decent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a pleasure staying in this hotel!
