Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe building needs a lot of restoration. It’s like stepping back into the 80s. A little tacky and kitsch, not in a positive way.
It was satisfying for one night. I could stay for more than 2 nights. The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. The lady who checked us in spoke English fluently, which is a plus.

France•Air conditioning was out of order. It was 33°C during my stay and it was so hard not have air conditioning. They gave us 2 fans in our room, I could sleep the night. But it was not comfortable. •Refrigerator was out of order. •TV didn't work. But they changed it quickly and it worked.
•Very easy access to Venezia by bus. •No fee for parking and dog. •Room was clean even though room is not so modern style.

United KingdomI didn't like the breakfast. sorry, it was just not for me. I found the bread really tough and there wasn't a great variety. This is just my opinion though. I also found getting the temperate of my room right. There only seemed to be a big radiator in the bathroom which was behind the door, so not it the best place to heat the room up. And I do like to have a bath, but I have found most hotels in Italy only do showers now. The decor could do with a refresh
The location was perfect for me as I had a training camp in the town to attend. The car park was secure and had enough room. There was an exceptional member of staff, I'm sorry I didn't get his name, younger man usually on the evening shift . He was very friendly, helped me with the wifi and answered all my questions with a smile on his face. The room was very spacious for a single, with a large bed, plenty of bedding and very comfortable. It was a little dated and you can see needed a refresh in places. I like having a kettle, a fridge and all the sockets were in convenient places.

The staff. We were able to meet a great reception host named Amik. He made us feel welcome, safe and comfortable during our stay and even took the extra step to give us tourist tips and food recommendations.

IrelandI was with my son,who is disabled, using wheelchair. Lift is too small. I had to leave him in the lift and run upstairs to get him out the lift/elevator. Beds and rooms too small. Hoist doesnt fit under bed, was very hard to get my son from wheelchair to bed and from the bed to wheelchair. Should make it more wheelchair friendly or not advertise that is wheelchair accessible. They have shower accessible, but could have shower chair with wheels. Or do i have to brig all equipment ? I brought hoist already.
Staff friendly and helpful

FinlandEverything else besides location. Room 207 was a wifi dead zone, and the staff were surprised when I said it. Had room changed since a room mysteriously showed up at 10pm. Thought it was booked out. The AC in the new room made a huge noise but didn't cool the room a single bit. I saw another staff member removing a pedestal fan from another room. Borrowed it to at least make the night sleep-able, but alas. Pedestal fans are not the most silent. Didn't sleep throughout both the nights of my stay. Breakfast - worst ever. Everything is store brought. Not even a toaster for bread. Coffee machine is hidden away, and the front desk staff, who double up as restaurant manager, bring out the coffee, but even the coffee can't salvage the situation. Alas, it's bad. They kept running out of simple things like Croissant and water, which was never replenished. The premise in General is pretty run down and in desperate need for rejuvenating. The entire premise feels like walking in a mortuary. It's really that bad. Light fixtures are falling down in places. The hallways are very dark and dull. Not worth even half of what I had to pay. Even then I'd not stay here again. Ever. Note to self- take the comments from other folk seriously. Note to other readers- please take my comments and that of others seriously. I've learnt my lesson. Note to Hotel - Please do yourself a favor and take this as feedback and invest some capital and give this property a new life.

HungaryUpon arrival, the receptionist greeted me very kindly. He even gave me a bottle of cold water as the weather was very hot. He repeatedly drew our attention to the hotel's free Wi-Fi, the passwords of which were located on the counter. PHISHING!!! I do not recommend anyone to connect to the free wifi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BelgiumWhere to start!? The hotel is old. The bedroom is dirty, walls are covered with dirty old wallpaper. The bathroom is ugly and the doors of the shower are just catastrophic, after taking a shower it looks like a swimming pool. You can literally hear people talking in the room next to yours. There is a lot of noise in the street (people screaming, cars and loud motorbikes). Happy that it was just for one night.
