Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaPaulo greeted us with a big smile and gave us all the information we needed about the hotel and its facilities. He is professional and friendly, and answered all of our questions without hesitation. Breakfast is to die for and the ladies who manage it are lovely. Room was big and clean, it didn’t have any shampoo or conditioner but we brought ours so it wasn’t an issue. Overall, even it was a bit on the pricey side, our stay was really good and I 100% recommend it.

United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay - the hotel is as good as all the positive reviews suggest. Location is perfect - metro station a few metres away, San Giovanni at walking distance, 30 mins walking to the Colloseum and plenty of places to eat around (Zero pizza place and Shooters restaurant nearby are great). Surely the hotel is not luxurious, you can here noises here and there, but the bed is comfortable, breakfast is good (give the marble cake a try) and the staff is amazing. It’s the staff actually that makes this hotel so good. Reception and breakfast service always great, and the housekeeping- just brilliant, the room was so clean every day!

United KingdomWe travelled beginning of April and, during the night, the room was a bit too warm for our standards, as there was no AC (as clearly mentioned by the guy at the reception). I am not sure if it was broken or completely missing, but I feel it would be problematic to stay in this structure without AC over the Roman summer.
We have been upgraded to a triple room, which provided us with an additional bed (not needed) but more space, especially in the bathroom. Our room also has a large balcony by being located on the first floor (however, we didn't need it). Also, the hotel is perfectly located on the main tube line, just a few stops from the city centre!

United KingdomBuckets were emptied late at night but learned to shut the window. The hotel did not have air conditioning on as it was still there time for the heating.
Wide variety of choice for breakfast, hot and cold. The room was good and kept clean, fresh towels and sheets every day Staff were very friendly and helpful. Warned us about pickpockets. Decided to take a taxi to centre of Rome instead of using the metro. Like being away from the centre as was quieter at nights. Best to turn to the right and go towards the square and the metro.

SerbiaAfter midnight, you might be awakened by the sound of high heels clacking and the giggling of girls returning from a night out to the room next to yours or above you, as the walls are quite thin, but nothing too serious; we even found it rather charming. We quickly fell asleep.
The hotel is ideal for travelers spending several days visiting and exploring Rome. Located in a very nice and relaxed area, full of greenery, local shops, and very affordable restaurants. The metro is a couple of minutes away from the hotel. The hotel offers a warm atmosphere and a good feeling; the young people who welcomed us and saw us off were truly wonderful and kind. Since we arrived on an early flight, they kept our luggage until we arrived in our room later. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a large balcony with seating. The beds were extremely comfortable, as well as the pillows. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with basic amenities and cleaned daily. Breakfast was excellent, varied, and tasty. From Fiumicino Airport to Tuscolana station, from which you can walk to the hotel, you can take the local train, although it often runs late, or you can take the Leonardo Express directly to Termini station and then the metro to the hotel, which is a bit more expensive but faster and more comfortable. Nearby the hotel, there is an excellent pizzeria called Re di Roma, as well as an even better cake shop, Pompi, where you can taste the best tiramisu in Rome.

PolandThe breakfast was simple but always very good. The room was always super clean and met our expectations. The location is top notch. Close to the metro, metro stop is relatively close to the main tourist attractions in Rome, so the journey is not long. Near Re Di Roma there are shops and restaurants that are more local and not full of tourists.

The hotel was perfectly placed to allow us use the public transport and explore the city. The staff, particularly Lin, Irania and Giorgio were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. I would say the rooms are a little dated but are very comfortable. Overall an excellent hotel.

Costa RicaYou have to hand the keys of the hotel when you leave, why? The eggs on the breakfast were mostly cold by 8am and (I never thought this would be a complaint from me) the toilet is uncomfortably high, it’s weird. Also, the rooms need some serious noise isolation. you can hear pretty much everything happening upstairs.
The facilities were pretty good. Breakfast was included and it was better than most hotels. Location is pretty good, there’s a metro station pretty close. The bed was FANTASTIC! First hotel in Europe where I can say that.
