Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesEverything was excellent. On our last three trips to Italy we stayed at this Hotel. I would highly recommend the Regina di Saba Hotel. Some of our relatives want to do a family trip within the next 2 years to Italy which will include this area and I will definitely recommend the Regina di Saba Hotel.
Gave us plenty: juice, and coffee or tea whatever requested. Danish, pancake, fruit, different jams as well as Nutella to spread on toast or biscuits. Location excellent.

United KingdomNothing really - the village of Carpignano is very small, with just the restaurant and a bar, but it was convenient for us as we were visiting relatives for a family wedding.
We were warmly welcomed by Giuseppe, and as there were few guests at the hotel, we were upgraded to the suite, which was very luxurious. Breakfast was very good - fresh melon, yogurt, pastries, pancakes, with juice and coffee. Giuseppe also walked us to the family restaurant, and on different nights we tried antipasti, primo, secondo, pizza, all excellent and very reasonably priced. There is a large car park, and the wifi worked well. It was very quiet when we were there, but might be different on a weekend when the hotel is hosting a wedding reception.

AustraliaWhat’s not to like? The place is super comfortable and Giuseppe and his wife are great hosts. However location wise it’s a bit off Broadway but it’s a great place to stop for a refuel if you’re driving down from Rome to the South or vice versa..
Breakfast was brilliant and consisted of hot pancakes and a hot pastry as well. A very nice coffee that Giuseppe made to order exactly how each of us wanted.. there was also juice and toastini with a variety of jams. It was a hearty start to the day.. the rooms were also huge with plenty of storage and lightning fast wifi. Lots of places to park too. Dinner was also a real treat as Giuseppe walked us to his family run restaurant which is close by and where we served up a proper traditional Italian style feast.

Strategic location : 1) if you want to travel from Naple / Pompei to Puglia, 2) to visit the area (Mefite of Rocca San Felice, Benevento etc.). Beautiful and clean room. Very silent place. Safe parking spot for free. The atmosphere of the small rural village.

United StatesThe hotel was beautiful, clean, and the perfect stop from either Bari or Rome if you are traveling between cities. The breakfast was so delicious, I could not get over how much food was included! It was a wonderful experience. The host in the hotel helped me find where I was going, and was able to check me in even though I arrived very late. He also helped with all of our luggage. I would definitely recommend and come back.

United KingdomThere was very little to dislike.
The rooms are spacious and have marble floors giving the hotel a palatial feeling. The host/owner is a modest, and likeable person as is his wife. It seems they operate the hotel, and a nearby restaurant, as family run businesses.

United StatesThere is nothing that we did not enjoy. The quality of service was incredible and especially cannot be beat for the price.
Regina di Saba is located in the hill-town of Carpignano, centrally situated in Campania with easy drives to Grottaminarda, Mirabella, and small cities, and is only an hour from the Amalfi Coast. A quick, one hour drive from the Naples airport through the stunning Italian mountains brings you to this lovely, quiet hotel. Located among farmers' fields, surrounded by olive groves, small farms, and with the soft sound of a church bell at every quarter of the hour, you will be in the REAL Italy when you stay at Regina di Saba. I was traveling with my grandfather, and we stayed at the hotel for a week. The hosts, a husband and wife, made us feel at home. They checked in on us daily making sure that we had easy access to a wheelchair ramp, clean bedding and towels, and refreshed our beverages. The host cooked fresh breakfast each morning and made delicious cappuccinos, espressos, or americanos to order. We ate breakfast in the dining room with open doors letting in a lovely fresh breeze from the courtyard. The bedroom, bathroom, and hallways were spacious with gorgeous tile-work everywhere. You will enjoy views of the surrounding countryside from the hotel, and I was surprised to find that this hotel also functions as a wedding and reception hall. This would be an exceptional location for a wedding. The amenities were exquisite with a jacuzzi tub and rainfall shower in the bathroom. Everything was decorated with attention to detail and comfort. My grandfather and I stayed in a larger suite with two semi-separate rooms, which is perfect for family members who want to stay in the same room but have some privacy. The host and his wife offered us recommendations for local Roman historical sites, shopping, and dining. They also own and operate the neighboring "Ristorante Paradise," where we ate several times. Fresh, wholesome Italian food that could not be beat. We truly could not have been happier with our stay at Regina di Saba.
