Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRelais Villa Angiolina is a beautiful bed and breakfast in stunning Sorrento . It has a relaxing atmosphere and the immaculate room we stayed in also had a lovely patio area . The garden was delightful with lemon trees in abundance. Liana and Elisa were very helpful and gave great advice on the surrounding area regarding things to do, transport etc. The Villa made our first stay in Sorrento wonderful.

United States of AmericaIt would have been nice to have had a hot food item or two on the breakfast menu. But the cheese and ham slices, and yogurt were good, along with many other items.
We were offered a full menu of choices for breakfast; from which we could choose the day before. For the cost of 10 Euro, it was an excellent breakfast. The staff was very helpful, before, and during our stay. The main center of Sorrento is short walk from the hotel. This is nice, as the hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood.

CanadaNot a dislike but worth noting the hotel is on a one way street and transport drops you off at the top of the street and you have to walk your luggage to and from to hotel from there.
The staff was wonderful, so helpful. The hotel has a deal with two different area restaurants that will pick you up and bring you back to the hotel, which was nice on a rainy night. Our room backed on to a tiny courtyard with a lemon tree it was lovely to sit out there at night with a glass of wine.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is on a side street which was difficult for one of the taxi drivers to find coming from the Naples airport. Ours had no trouble but other family members took longer. There is a hotel at the corner which was our usual pick up point when we arranged for a driver. The name of the hotel is Hotel Leone. Once you park in front of hotel Leone, the hotel is 1/2 block on the left.
Prior to arriving at the hotel, the staff was very helpful in preparing for our visit. We were able to send in copies of our passports and select our breakfast from the menus online prior to our arrival. Once we arrived it was just a matter of collecting our key and being shown to our room. The room could not have been better. We had plenty of space with a large bathroom, plenty of storage space, a refrigerator and a lovely shaded sitting area with table and chairs outside our room. The location was about a 5-7 minute walk to the pedestrian area where there was plenty of restaurants and shopping. There is a nice local grocery store 3-4 minutes from the hotel but a larger one inside the gates of the pedestrian area. The ground of the hotel are beautiful with mature trees and plants. It is well maintained and inviting. We sere served breakfast each morning in their lovely outdoor gardens. The pictures that you see on the site are accurate, but better when you see it in person. And, the staff could not have been more helpful. They were happy to help us with any of our requests. They recommended two restaurants that provided a car service that picked us up and brought us back after dinner. We enjoyed both evenings and the food was excellent. I could not rate this hotel and the staff high enough. I would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend to any of my friends. Thank you for the wonderful time in Sorrento!!!

The staff was increadibly helpful and polite. They speak English very well, which is not that obvious in other places in Italy. They helped us with bus tickets and gave good recommendation regarding Sorrento. Hotel room was very nice and perfectly cleaned. You have a private access to the garden where you may hang out or eat breakfast. Breakfast is typical Italian- croissants and coffee, but you may also chose yoghurt, toast, rolls, ham and cheese - for us it was efficient. The location is great, near the city center, bus stop and railway station. It is easy to get from Naples to Sorrento by train. I strongly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

United KingdomWalking back up to the property after dinner/drinks in town is a bit sweaty, but it makes up for it as it’s just off the beat to be a peaceful night while still only 5 minutes to town
The staff are contactable 24/7 by WhatsApp, and are very thorough in everything they do, booking last minute boat trips for us, honest advise and ideas, truly the best part of the stay was the staff. The room was spot on with iron, ironing board, safe, fridge, tv… everything you need for a comfortable stay!
