We got a free upgrade to a Junior Suite (from the Superior room we booked) but: - air conditioning was not working - no still water in the minibar, only sparkling - room telephone not working We reported the problems to the staff at about 4:30PM when we arrived, by 7:30PM nothing happened! There was a black-out at about 10PM when, after more complaining, we have been offered to change room. We went to a smaller room (still quite large, though) were at least the air conditioning was working. But the shower glass was missing (obviously broken and not replaced) and the bathroom door handle was coming apart. Very bad maintenance, typical of supposedly luxurious hotels in Italy (I am Italian, I know very well). The place would have great potential, but the management is just too bad.

Great location and great pools. Very large rooms

The access to the site could be improved. The breakfast room needs desperately a kettle and a toaster, and although breakfast was good, it lacked imagination. Air con not working in our room. Water pressure and hot water to be improved.

The buildings are beautiful, and so are the grounds and the pool. The staff are very friendly and the room comfortable.

Way out of the way, rough dusty road to get to it, a sewage treatment plan or the like off in front of it. Cool reception, not a lot of effort to welcome guests, or effort to show where room was. Quite hilly to get around. 10 Euros to hire a towel to use the pool plus a swimming hat had to be worn.
