Our room was adequate and clean. The bathroom shower was a bit small. Location was very convenient in town across from the beach. Easy to walk to everything. The bed was fine, just felt a bit small for two of us.

The building and facilities are quite old . Which is not all bad, but it does have a vibe of an 80’s Hotel. Overall - I would come back again.

This has nothing to do with the hotel but the bus ride from Salerno to Amalfi was horrible. We will take the boat the next time.

Great location and nice place. A little loud at night but the great location makes up for this. The shutters on the windows help to buffer the noise. We had a great time ,loved the view, nice breakfast and we always had fresh towels.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Residence in Amalfi. The location couldn't be better - just a 5-minute walk to the ferry docks and right in the heart of everything. The convenience of having the beach just across the street was a definite highlight. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of size and cleanliness, making my experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty. The breakfast area was perfectly located overlooking the beach and the coast. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Residence for its prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations.

The property was excellently located, right wt the marina and the beach, a short walk away from Amalfi’s downtown. For being in the centre of everything, the room was quiet and the windows kept the noise out well. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast offered great choices and was always delicious.

Breakfast was excellent! The balcony is on the main strip, so you do hear people and cars during the day. We enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony in early evening and watching all of the people! But when you close the shutters and curtains, it’s fine for sleeping. The location is perfect for walking in the town, the ferries, and the buses.

Charging points were minimal in the room and one didn’t work properly but this was a minor issue.

Location is excellent - right on the main port. Staff are fabulous and helpful with all enquiries. Lovely decor, breakfast and most noise from the outside was blocked by the windows. We loved our stay!

Everything about this hotel was awesome. Excellent location near the transport hub of the Amalfi coast (car, bus, or boat). Across the street from the beach and directly next door to the famous church and piazza. Room was spectacular and spacious (steam shower with cool lights, yes please). Restaurant was phenomenal.

Since it is on the main road between towns and across from the bus stop it can get noisy but this really didn’t bother us much. We had rooms in the front with an amazing ocean view and when we closed the patio doors it was pretty quiet.

The location cannot be beat! It is close to the main shopping square where the Duomo is located and right across from the beach where you can rent 2 lingers and an umbrella for 20€ for the whole day. We rented a car since we were doing a lot of traveling around the area and there was a paid parking lot about 0.3 mi away. Also one morning we had to leave before breakfast to catch a ferry in Naples and the kitchen staff prepared us breakfast sacks to go!! The staff was all very responsive and nice.

Great breakfast with such a nice staff and the location was everything one could ask for! Bus station right in front, small kiosks just there and the beutiful piazza in the corner, restaurants everywhere. The balcony in the room facing the sea sea was the icing on top. Great visit!
