The mattress was terribly uncomfortable, it seems to me that they should have changed it a long time ago. The noise of the corridor was a terrible disturbance in the morning and in the evening, the closing/opening of any door was heard with a terrible bang and was a terrible disturbance.

The staff was very friendly and responsive. The availability of a washing machine was a nice bonus (but unfortunately there was no washing up liquid at least a little). The area was quiet. There was a large affordable supermarket near the building.

The individual apartments were nice, but were missing a few things that seemed odd to us. The rooms smelled a bit moldy, which wasn't a problem because we didn't see any visible mold; we had two ironing boards, but no iron, a coffee maker but no coffee, etc. The bed was also very uncomfortable. Not impossible to sleep on, but some of the folks in my group with back concerns, or any pain did not sleep well for the week. I also wish before I booked, I had some idea of how the city of Verona is situated. I brought a group of 23 college students/faculty/staff to perform in a theater festival in town, and this hotel was an easy, flat 8-minute walk from the theater we were working in. However, this hotel is easily a 30-minute walk from the Verona city center. Not a major problem, just something I wish we had known before we got there. We figured out the city bus on the last day, and that was a life-saver!

The hotel staff was incredible. They were helpful to me, and my entire group throughout our week-long stay. I was traveling with a bunch of college students who definitely put the hotel staff to work. The staff was patient and worked with my group well. We checked-in and checked-out at very strange hours, and the staff there to help us was present, knowledgeable and super helpful, especially when all the Italian I knew just flew out of my brain at 3:30 AM. The hotel provided us transportation from the airport, and back to the airport, for our large group, for a really reasonable fee. The individual apartments were great - clean, had just about everything you needed for a week-long stay or more. Some in my group needed specific help with their rooms (broken washing machines, etc), and the hotel staff was prompt and helpful throughout all of our needs. Overall, for the price we paid, this was a perfect place to stay with a large group.

Comfortable apartment with more bathroom facilities than I was expecting, which was great for two boys and two girls. We loved the balconies and large windows, and the fitted kitchen as very useful.
