A disappointing hotel overhyped in its marketing and less-than-accurate online impression

This hotel is really 2-star quality masquerading under 4 stars. The website photos are carefully shot to give the impression of a wonderful countryside spa with modern bedrooms and a high class restaurant. In reality: it is on an industrial strip development surrounded by dross; the outdoor pool area is (in fairness) fantastic; the ultra-bright bar is in the breakfast foyer and was never manned when I tried (& nobody was on reception); the indoor pool is part of a private sports complex (requiring swim caps, for goodness’ sake) and you have to pay extra; the check-in and check-out was not altogether smooth; the breakfast was 2nd-rate quality and choice (though wonderful coffee); the (single) beds were very narrow and hard; the keycard was bent and only one was issued so my 11-year-old son had to stay in the dark with no chance of switching on electricity while I sat in a corridor armchair until my own bedtime; air conditioning is automatically on when the room is absent its keycard(!); the restaurant is like Prezzo; they took our passports at check-in and forgot to give them back (I had to ask an hour later); and the whole place looks like a 1980s motel. The redeeming feature? It was cheap.

Nothing in particular on this occasion, except the excellent coffee - but it jolly well should be good in Piemonte!

Rooms smell of smoke, overpriced restaurant, dirty rooms, AC not working, bad location.

The lovely photo of the pool area is extremely misleading. It is not even part of the hotel. Hotel is on a busy road, far away from any restaurants, and they clearly make use of this fact by offering a ridiculously overpriced and pretentious dinner menu with no child friendly options (really, my kid doesn't want to eat octopus salad). This is a budget hotel, so why would I want to spend 50 Euro per person on dinner? Our room had no window and was very dark and depressing and smelled strongly of smoke. The light in the bathroom was out and there was mold in the shower. AC did not work. Upon checkin, I was asked to sign a form releasing my personal info to be sold to 3rd parties for advertising purposes, I refused and was treated very rudely for refusing to sign this release. Not recommended.

    Pancakes at Breakfast, free parking.

I woke up around 7.00 in the morning because of the cold. But that also gave me more time at the breakfast buffet.

The food was cheap and simple, but it was good. They had this bread made of pizza dough which was really nice. It looked a bit burned, but you can easily remove the black spots. The breakfast was very nice too; croissants, bread, different kind of cheeses and some meat. They also had cakes and prepacked glutten and diary free cookies. Next to the great food, there was almost constant 80's music in the hallways which you can also hear in the room (noisy rooms). I didn't mind though, because the playlist was pretty good.

We thought the hotel was located in a more green/quiet space, because of the photos posted. Despite being rated as a 3 star-hotel, it was definitely simpler. The room had a small balcony, but didn't have windows, so it was quite dark. The staff was helpful, but they were speaking loudly in the corridors and didn't have much touristic information to give. It's also worth noting that the gym/spa/indoor pool are in a different building inside the property and they work like a normal gym for locals, so you have to pay extra to use these facilities. The external swimming pools are also opened to the local community.

The size and cleanliness of the room were good. The facilities with swimming pools and gym/spa were great. Breakfast was very good. Points of location: supermarket on the same street, close to Pinerolo and Turin.

Nothing was fresh at breakfast, sweaty croissants and stale rolls... and the pool was not a relaxing atmosphere. Loud dance music and lots of kids. Rooms overlook the car park. The photos are very generous, so don't be fooled.

Big rooms, value for money if you are just passing through.

The hotel pool was not available for use during the week as it was closed for swimming lessons, this was not detailed at the time of booking. It was difficult to regulate the temperature of the room, we found it too hot or too cold. We had a triple room, as did our friends but our room was tiny and cramped and theirs was very spacious. We were charged the same price which seemed unfair. There was a lot of traffic noise from the road.

Food in the restaurant was very good.

Everything. This is not a 4 star hotel. The room is without windows. The bedsheet cover is used by everybody, it is open and not inside a changeable sheet. The tube shower is a ridiculous hool. The bed is not King size, a small bed 140 x 200. SPA is on payment in another building. The safe wasn't fixed. The room is a cheap 2 star hotel room. This was the Deluxe double room!87 Euro special price instead of 100 euro.

The hotel is very poorly looking. The breakfast area was very cold and deppreaing. Rooms so poor and deppressing. The only good thing was that the rooms were heated as i was there in January. Wi-fi didn't work at all. The restaurant also very cold and the food tasteless. I wouldn't recomend it.

The spa, and gym was nice but it was a different building and you had to go out of the hotel to reach it.

Seems more like a highway hotel, and only one option for dining, where food is OK, but waiters are stressed out because of either too few waiters or bad management.
