Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Rachel from reception was super helpful with everything we requested, as we came with 3 babies we had some unique requests, and she was always attentive and smiling. The place was green and nice, big and heated rooms and lovely breakfast. Big rooms, clean and tidy.

AustraliaStaff were friendly and helpful. Loved the country feel yet so close to train station, with just one stop between Ciampino and Rome Termini. Accommodation was unique and suitable, no complaints.

ThailandGiven the isolated location it would be nice if they offered a small lunch/dinner menu or even just light snacks (vending machine or kiosk in lobby). I saw there was a restaurant that gets good reviews just around the corner but you have to walk on a narrow windy two-lane highway with no footpaths to get to it.
The location was isolated such that without a car I would not have wanted to stay longer than one night, but it was fine for an overnight before a flight out of Ciampino airport. We caught a taxi from the train station to get there and used the hotel shuttle to the airport the next morning. Also enjoyed the light breakfast in the morning and drinks on the patio in the evening. My daughter was smitten with the local cats that congregate around the facilities and I appreciated the fresh air and views.

SwitzerlandThe location is hard to commute to by public transport, you either have to take a cab from ciampino station ir use the hotel shuttle which is well organized by the hotel and Benjamin the driver. The bathroom shower need a little attention, nothing bad just the silicone lining needs to be replaced.
Well taken care of property, clean amd comfy. The hotel is definitely good for a relaxed stay. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. All the arrangements were met. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Overall really satisfied with the stay and the staff

United KingdomWith the location being quite rural, it was quite tricky to get there from Rome without a car. We got the train and then had to walk about half an hour to the property on some busy roads. I think a better breakfast selection could have been offered for the price it cost. Also, the walls/doors seemed to be quite thin as we got woken up in the morning by people talking in the corridor outside our room...
Really nice comfy room with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and offered a well-priced shuttle to the airport in the morning. We only stayed one night to be close to the airport but wish we had stayed a little longer as it seemed like a pretty area.

LatviaTo be honest, a good rating is basically due to the nice staff. I stayed for 2 nights and there was no hot water for both days. There was no water at all on the second day, electricity was lost (the staff said it was all over the city, but there was no hot water at all the day before). Be aware that breakfast is suitable for Italians, but not for tourists who have no idea about a typical Italian breakfast. Breakfast included only espresso, Nutella cream and sweet buns. That's all. No eggs, vegetables or fruit - just sweet bread and a little espresso. Some tables outside are badly damaged - it is difficult to sit because there are no covers or pillows. This place has so much potential (close to Rome, quiet, nice staff) that it could become a TOP place, but it seems that only the staff takes care of its growth, not the owners. There are many things that could be improved by investing relatively little funding. Thanks again to the nice staff!
The staff is really great - reception staff, nice waiters and a cook. Helpful, nice and positive people! Beautiful location - if you like peace and quiet, then this place will be suitable. 28 km to Rome. Getting to the Rome with public transport is difficult - easily by car or taxi. The rooms are quite good.
