We loved the smart TV, and the facilities we had in our room

You gad to hold the shower head, so you couldn't stand under it

Room was much smaller than pictured. It was hard to get in and out of bed due to lack of space. Steps and noise from room in the upper floor were easily heard. Bathroom was clean but could use some renovation. Restaurants in the area are 100% for tourists and overpriced. If you are looking for more authentic ones, you need to go to a different area such as Dorsoduro

The location is very strategic i.e very near to St Maria del Giglio boat station, shopping area and the landmark of venice Piazza San Marco. The rooms is very beautiful and spacious exceeding my expectations. The staff is very nice to allow us check in earlier than the check-in time.

It is a very beautiful location, very close to everything but also away from busy and touristy streets so it is very quiet. Very clean

There is no lift

The property was tucked away on a quiet street very close to all the action. Our room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator but that was no problem), and honestly it was way nicer than the photos. I think we lucked out and got a special room.

It was a little weird that we had to check in at a different location, but they gave very clear instructions and a map for how to get to our building, so it was no big deal.

Great location and facilities at the property.

A cleaner came in every day and I didn’t like that my clothes were moved about/ pjs.

We were actually switched to the parent hotel - hotel ala- which was fabulous. Especially liked the lemon and ginger drink on tap!!

This hotel is a gem! DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE STAR rating It’s an unmanned building but owned by a local hotel. It was perfect, central location, clean, comfortable! We loved it! Genuine shocked it only gets 1 star, it deserves so much more! Kettle in the room, cool room

No china cups for tea making

The accommodation was very central. With walking distance of all the main attractions and ferries. The bedroom and ensuite was small but functional and well laid out, the shower was ample size. Bed made up and towels changed as necessary on a daily basis. The air conditioning was an essential welcome feature as hot weather prevailed during our stay. I liked being able to make a cup of tea or coffee with the sachets provided.

Our room was on the third floor and there's no lift. We probably benefited from the extra exercise except perhaps when carrying luggage on arrival and departure.
