The owner/hostess is amazingly warm and welcoming, not to mention a top notch baker! Accommodations were spacious and roomy and had all the necessary amenities.

Everything was perfect!

The size of the family room was so perfect! My parents were very happy with their room. The gracious hospitality of the owner was over the top. She provided so many recommendations and was so flexible with us. She made my parents stay in Florence an amazing one. The icing on the cake was the home made breakfast in a cute courtyard. The owner made such yummy homemade breakfast items along with favorite breakfast items that Americans love (eggs and etc)

The mosquitos in our room were highly unwelcome! We left the hotel with many mosquito bites on our faces and torsos, as well as mosquito blood on bedsheet. A type of repellent was plugged in beside the bed, but we found it made no difference whatsoever.

Location, location, location...our needs were mostly met within walking distance. Quite spacious room, overlooking the patio, with a great nightime view. We were pleasantly surprised on our first night by the view of the warm glow of the Duomo from our bedroom window. Very personable, welcoming, helpful, informative, and friendly manager!!! Quite spacious room overlooking the patio. Due to our schedule, we were only able to partake of the breakfast once, but were offered take out service option which we opted out of. The breakfast we did have on the premises offered a great variety of beverages and delicious choices of breakfast foods.

The room was large with a big bathroom. The only thing I would say is that the beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. Perhaps its because I'm getting older or having walked miles everyday I find I really need a comfy bed to get a good night's sleep.

The location was ideal, walking distance to everything. Barbara was very helpful and was even able to reserve a time slot for us to visit the Academia museum when the site showed that everything was sold out !! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and Barbara's special cakes was a real treat.

The location is perfect, walking distance from major attractions, food and shops. Breakfast was the best. Barbara, the manager helped us every step of the journey. We felt very comfortable and safe at her hotel.

We stayed on top floor and A/C did not adequately cool the room when hot outside. Opened the window at night and that cooled the room for sleeping.

Barbara and her husband are excellent and very friendly hosts. They go all the extra miles to allow the guests to spend an amazing time in Firenze and are there to help when needed (questions about the city, ways of transportation, etc)

Liked everything

The owners, Barbara and her husband are amazing. They will bend over backwards for you, have great recommendations and are terrific people. The room was clean, comfortable, nicely appointed and air conditioned. We even had a view of the Duomo’s dome. Barbara loves to bake and makes the most delicious cakes which she serves at breakfast. My favorite was the ricotta with candied citrus peel which is from her hometown.

It was so wonderful!! The receptionist who welcomed us and was there for the whole stay was so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Florence and the hotel. We had the room with the view of the Duomo which was really magical.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We liked everything! - Barbara is a fantastic host. She immediately welcomed us, made sure we liked our room, and gave us useful recommendations not only for where to go in Florence, but also for the rest of our trip in Tuscany. - The room was very comfortable and quiet and had all the amenities (including some nice soaps and shampoo bottles from Greece :D) - The breakfast was great, especially the homemade cakes and fresh juices. - The location is very convenient, at the centre of Florence. You can go anywhere on foot. We would love to visit Florence (and Residenza Villino) again!
