Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesMy family and I were extremely happy here. The apt was elegant, spacious, very clean and well maintained. We loved the old world charm and antique key that opened a big heavy door. Perfect location near everything. Perfect oasis in a bustling city. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10.

AustraliaThe apartment was clean and beautifully presented down to the tiniest detail. We loved waking up each morning to the frescos on the ceiling and views of Napoli out the windows. The location was perfecto! In a trendy part of Napoli surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants with lots of alfresco dining and pedestrian-only streets. Very much a local scene! We were within walking distance from Centro Storico and the Archaeological Museum And the apartment is situated a short walk from 2 metro lines and only one stop from Napoli Centrale station, so getting around the city was a breeze. I wish we could have stayed longer! Tommaso was a easy to communicate with and made our stay so enjoyable. If I could rate this place 11/10, I would!

United KingdomIt was quite noisy if the windows weren’t closed.
Lots of space. Good location. Clean and comfortable. Lovely old details like painted ceilings and old furniture. Great restaurants and bars very close by. Really easy to get around and see the sights of Naples. About a half hour walk to the train station for trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento.

Central location but windows and shutters blocked out all noise and light for a peaceful sleep. The host was fantastic and very helpful and friendly. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

GermanyThere was nothing to dislike.
We stayed in the Deluxe room (Museo). Tomasso was very kind and took care of everything we needed help with. The location is perfect for exploring Napoli: Right next to the old town and the quarteri spagnoli. You have a food store right over the street and train or bus stations in a few walking minutes away. We enjoyed the very special night life of Napoli as well. All the young people are in the streets, drink, laugh and have fun. We recommend the Piazza Bellini. The appartement was incredible. It is beautifully equipped like you live in a castle as a King or Queen, but have the benefits of the 21th century. The WiFi was stable for us and good enough for streaming films and such. The location is next to a bigger street, but we had no trouble sleeping due to the very good sound isolated windows. One tiny downside is, that if you have neighbours, you might be able to hear them from time to time. We had not trouble at all. Napoli is definitely one of the most welcoming cites in Itlay and you will probably fall in love with the people and even the motorcycles there!

AustraliaThere were a couple of very minor niggles. The basin plug didn't work in the bathroom and there was none for the sink in the kitchen. The shower drained slowly so there was a risk of overflowing if you left it on too long.
Residence Pessina is in a neighbourhood that looks run down on the outside, but inside the apartment is 2 large rooms with coloured marble floors and high ceilings with chandelier lights The kitchen bathroom module is installed in the main room. The bedroom is well shielded from the constant traffic noise outside. Wifi was fast. We found it a good location as there are many of the sights of Naples either nearby or on the same metro line. At night the neighbourhood comes alive with outdoor dining and street food.

United KingdomIf we weren't exhausted from walking, or if we had stayed longer than 3 nights, we would probably have wanted the use of a sitting room, which is apparently available as an extra.
Perfectly located for Archaeological Museum (wow - Pompeii and Herculaneum here we come!) and Via dei Tribunali area. A comfortable and well equipped apartment in a formerly grand but now somewhat run-down, typical Naples block. A great base for exploring the city.

United Kingdomthe apartment location is very central so it can be noisy at night however there are sound proofing windows and shutters that keep the noise down. I had no problem sleeping at all and noise is part of the Charm of Naples.
the property is beautiful. very sophisticated decor and very comfortable too. the bathrooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen is nice to have. The host, Tomasso was very friendly and so helpful. there was tea and jams and coffee supplied. the apartment is very secure and safe. it is in a superb location for sightseeing right in the middle of the town and close to amazing restaurants and cafes. we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit. the apartment is close to Dante metro station so easy to go further afield too.

Excellent property and perfectly located ( in the heart if Naples, at a walking distance to everything downtown, including the city's historical center). The residence was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at around 11:00 ( even if officially the check-in time is after 15:00). This was a major plus, since we arrived there very early and we did not want to wait. The room is absolutely beautiful, with a fantastic Renaissance charm ( we had the room called Museum), clean, very comfortable. The host was amazing. Mister Tommaso went over and beyond to make our sejour a very pleasant experience( he even brought us local sweets for breakfast one morning!). We definitely recommend the residence to everyone who aims for a perfect accommodation experience in Naples !

AustraliaThe location is a bit rundown, but the major issue we faced was the constant road noise the shutters weren't thick enough. We normally live on a loud street but this was next-level loud and constant. We were also a bit perturbed by the black mould in the silicone in the shower, however, the pressure of the shower head was great. We were also faced with an issue with the lights not turning on 100% of the time, especially in the bathroom unit. We found that the unlocking and locking of doors were counterintuitive to us no modern locking pinpad. Constantly emptying the water jug when using the air conditioner to avoid water falling off the street was annoying. The lack of a hairdryer was a bit disappointing for us as travellers.
Residenze Pessina is in a great location, with a bus stop right outside and a train station down the road. There are also many fantastic food places nearby. We stayed in Dante and were greeted by a spacious floor plan with tea and coffee. The bed is spacious and comfy, with enough bedding for a relaxing stay. The decor is beautiful and feels very Italian. The addition of a fridge is always handy, but the complimentary water was even better.
