the hotel has seen it all it seems. the time has taken its toll and it is visible throughout. Although it did not make any negative impact on anything (while I was there), the history and slightly neglected upkeep is felt everywhere around.

the restaurant at the hotel is a great bonus. top menu, excellent local products. I recommend. they also offered a place to store my bikes, which was a bonus. People were very nice and the setup also the location are great.

Cheap and cheerful - functional hotel. Suitable for walkers / cyclists wanting low cost stop. Few ‘facilities’ in the rooms. Busy restaurant much used by locals at night. Excellent value for money.

Smaller rooms under the roof (hence lower price).

Location near the San Daniele town, walking distance, also to famous prosciutto restaurants. Good breakfast including prosciutto and eggs (included in room price), bike room with electricity charging. Good restaurant in hotel.

We’ve been staying here off and on for many years and it’s becoming dated and rooms need to have some renovations and a fresh paint. Not all rooms have a mini fridge, the coffee machine seems to always be not working. I don’t think it should really be a Relais-more a 2 star hotel until they do some serious room overalls. Shame as the location is excellent! Breakfast 8Euro to expensive.

Good location for San Daniele and panoramic views of the area. The restaurant downstairs is always good quality.

We got a written confirmation for a twin room with two separate beds. They were separate but the distance was about 10cm between them :)

The location is great, up the hill with an amazing view over the valley and the mountains. The nearby restaurant is nice-to-have as the closest place to eat would be in the city which is a 10-15min walk. The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast is very good, mostly sweet stuff but on request you can get ham,cheese and a boiled egg.

the hotel is potentially a great place but the direction concentrate only on the restaurant. the hotel part it s almost left to itself. reception open just a few hours.

The room is comfortable, but could use renovation. In a quiet place, in a beautiful environment. There is a large parking lot in front. A big bus can also fit in. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff. Good value for money.

the reception was not always staffed and the communication between the grill and the hotel didn't seem to run smoothly (we wanted to reserve a table, the hotel staff said they're full, the grill staff gave us a place)

the spacious garden and the view on san daniele old town in the morning. also being in walking-distance to the city-centre is a big plus. great to have the option to eat dinner in-house at the grill

The staff was exceptional, from the lady that did reception and breakfast to the waiters at the attached restaurant after the second night where we sat on the same breakfast table, there was already some things we always prdered waiting for us whoch was a very touching gesture and made us feel right at home we were also allowed to bring our road cycling bikes to our room

-Wi-fi doesn't work properly, don't plan to make an online meetings or to work online- -Fridge exists but doesn't work (we've told them about this but they said they were all disconnected and you can not connect them). What's the use of having a disconnected fridge in a room? -Low pressure of hot water, the whole place needs a renovation. -Sheets have holes, they really need to change them. -Live guitar music coming other rooms daily (we've told the reception and they've stopped it but restarted the day after, apparently someone is using a room as a studio?). -The location is not in the city, so be prepared to walk cautiously, the moment you go out of the hotel dogs (every house in rural has them) start to bark. Not all dogs have a leash, we have seen dogs escaping from their houses to meet other dogs, but this problem is common in Italy. You can't walk in the evening. Get a car. No bus or train station nearby.

-Close to San Daniele which is a slightly bigger village where you can have a proper coffee. -Hotel has its own restaurant but limited menu (not so many healthy options). The service is good- -Staff is kind and willing to help you (from the reception to the cleaning staff, everyone is so kind). -Rooms are clean
