Really wonderful staff. Family-owned and family-run establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very clean rooms. Very comfortable. Staff: we were walking the Via Francigena, and wanted to depart early, before dawn. The host was super accommodating and also got up early, and offered us coffee, etc. Definitely one of the two best places we stayed in during our 3 weeks.

Monterrigioni is a small and the owners have made the most out of the available space but with some limitations, a pool is there, but not for swimming ;-)

A unique place, with a wonderful, personal service and a beautiful garden in Monteriggioni. A good base in Monteriggioni for trips to Siena and the towns and villages close by. We recommend Ristorante Le torri in Monteriggioni, reservation ahead recommended (when weather allows, ask for table in front of the restaurant with view to the towns Piazza. We also went to see Verrazano winery (app 45min by car), the wine & food experience they offer (booking online available) is recommendable, great tour, good wine, great food in a very nice setting. Also for a drink or a glass of wine and some cheese/meat platter go to Pit Stop 17, around the corner.

Nothing at all, really minor issue hairdryer in bathroom wasn’t great but fine as I’ve only got short hair! The spa by the pool wasn’t in use and just needs cleaning and setting up for the summer - didn’t cause us any issues at all

We’d first seen this hotel 16 years ago and I’d always wanted to stay there. We stayed for 4 nights, it was clean, staff very helpful, perfect location. The pool was lovely and refreshing and quiet. Local restaurants all lovely. Good continental breakfast. Lovely view from our room.

Everything was perfect for us.

Absolutely stunning location, very nice small hotel with personal touch and design in an old marvellous building and a beautiful tranquil garden. We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff was very warm and friendly. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant opposite to the hotel and the breakfast at the hotel terrace was very nice as well. We really enjoyed our stay and we‘ll definitely come back during our next visit to Tuscany!

A charming hotel with friendly and efficient staff. We used the pool in the back garden and lounged in the shade of the olive trees. The staff were most accommodating and they served a generous breakfast.

Beautiful property inside the walls of Monteriggioni. The hotel has wonderful Tuscan charm and was our most luxurious stay while walking the via Francigena. The staff and owner were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful sitting out in the garden. We would definitely recommend!!!

The initial instructions regarding the parking arrangements could have been clearer but a quick phone call solved that.

This hotel is situated within the fortified walls of Monteriggioi, so to stay there is very unique. You drive in through the walled gate. Quite an experience. The property has a large car park behind their building, it is quite amazing considering the small size of Monteriggioni.

Shower much smaller than what we are used to
