Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Lounge curtains didn't properly close therefore it was difficult to sleep with all the light from outside coming in.
The property was clean, newly built. Staff was really good. 15 mins to Venice by car. 20 mins by bus (infront of property)

The unit is newly renovated and very modern. Love the generous room size and bed size as these can be very hard to find in cities like Rome or Florence. Bus to the island is 30 mins which is very convenient.

Very good value for money. The apparent has a washing machine. It's perfect stay to break up a long trip allowing you to wash your clothes, cook something simple and not feel like you are living out of a suitcase for a moment. The breakfast is great value at 10 euro.

Great location near bus station that takes you to the Piazzale Roma. The reception staff was friendly and answered all questions.

The only downside was the cold floors, except for the bathroom, and we couldn’t adjust the heating. We mentioned it to the reception, but unfortunately, nothing changed during our stay.
In general, everything was really great! The apartment was comfortable, and we had a lovely stay. We parked our car at the Ai Pini hotel, as directed, and were kindly guided to our apartment. The grocery store was about a 10-minute walk away, and while it wasn’t the closest, it had everything we needed. The location is also very convenient, with Venice just 25 minutes away by bus.

Unfortunately the cutlery was dirty and the glasses are in very bad condition.
The receptionist was very kind and the apartment was as good as we expected.

Due to some misunderstanding in the booking the apartment didn't have 2 bedrooms as I wished to have. The lady at reception offered us 2 double rooms in Hotel Ai Pini at the opposite side of the street. Hotel Ai Pini was great, excellent customer service, clean comfortable rooms. The hotel has a very good restaurant. The location is also convenient for those who go to Venice (few seps from a city bus stop going to water trams station) or to Padova.

There were no kitchen towels, not enough glasses or dishes. We booked for 6 people but 5 of us came, and it was quite inconvenient to sleep in the living room.
staff was very helpful, incredibly kind and provided all the necessary information. Good location, quiet place, near highway. Clean. Big, nice and safe parking. They were very kind and they alowed us to park on check in and check out all day. Good comunication via email.

The apartment is very spaciousness and is equipped with all the amenities one could possibly desire. The check-in process at the hotel across the street was great. I accidentally booked an extra night, but the hotel receptionist contacted the owner. Despite my error, they were so kind and offered a refund for the additional night. Furthermore, the receptionist, he went above and beyond by providing detailed information about Venice, restaurants, and public transportation, which was very helpful. I recommend this apartment and look forward to returning in the future.

This place was feeling like home! The flat provides a comfortable amount of space for two people, with both bedrooms offering sufficient room and private bathrooms for each of the rooms. The living area is bright and comfortable with a door which brings you out to the massive balcony space. The balcony takes your breath away! It is just an amazing big space prepared for sunbath and relaxing! The host is such a nice person! We will definitely stay at this flat again!

Parking is very secure, they allowed us to park although the apartment was not ready, so that we can go sight seeing first. There is a direct bus that runs into Venice just a few steps from the apartment. Felt very safe. Apartment was spacious, clean, looks newly renovated. There is even a small washing machine, with a full set up kitchen. The balcony was very big. Check in was at the hotel opposite the apartment. I will stay here again if I returned.

We picked this hotel for its convenient location near the airport, and it was a great choice. We only stayed for one night, but the room was spacious and had everything we needed. The building is connected to the hotel across the street, so there's 24-hour reception service, which is a big plus.

Not in the floating city but there was a bus stop close by that took us there in 10 minutes.
Mauricia at the front desk was very helpful. Our airline lost our luggage and she was very helpful finding us converters for our electronics and making sure we received our luggage once it was delivered. Everyone we worked with at the location was extremely friendly and helpful. Also having laundry was great so we could wash our clothes until we got our luggage. We stayed in apartment 2 and the bed was very comfortable.

A little bit far to the venice island, bus only goes once in 20 minutes. But it is also in the price Range I guess.
