Internet connection not working. Staff reacted as if this was the first time but actually there are lots of reviews already complaining the fact. For a 4 stars hotel it’s incredible the absence of any complementary water bottle in the room. We took two thinking we’re for free and at the check out have been charged 5 euros. Those little attentions that make the difference considering that it is not a easy cheap place.

I’m not sure we would have picked to stay in the area again. There isn’t really anything to do and the mosquitoes mean you can’t eat outside in the evening. We didn’t have a shower curtain just a bath with a shower/tap so we had to crouch in the bath to shower which wasn’t ideal. I think one night would be all you need there.

The rooms were large and airy and the hotel had a charm to it. The AC didn’t really work but we come from a tropical country so we are used to warm rooms. Those who aren’t might struggle. The breakfast was nice too. We had a lovely meal at Trattoria Pizzeria La Taverna. Probably the best pizza I had in Italy. It’s very busy though so book a table in advance.

We booked SB relais last minute for a one night stop and it was a very convenient and comfortable stay. The strass was super friendly, the hotel didn’t have parking but the closest public parking is a 2 minutes walk and very convenient. Our room was spacious, and yes the hotel feels a bit dated but very nice overall, the commun areas are reflecting the beauty of this palazzo. We though it was great value. it’s centrally located in the town and very short walk to boutiques and restaurants.

The bathroom was very dated and in need of an upgrade. The shower head was broken and made showering very difficult. A simple shower unit rather than the outdated jacuzzi style panel unit ,which didn't blend with the old style furnishings at all, would make all the difference to the bathroom without having to change the rest.

The hotel was fine for a couple of days. Friendly staff , lovely breakfast and large , nicely decorated rooms. Lots of lovely angles in the hotel , newspapers everyday. Great potential for a historic building.

Softer beds. Stronger internet. Showers in every room and not just some (baths in others). Better air conditioning in the suites located on the top floor (bi-level, making heat rise and stay warmer).

Definitely did not feel like a four star hotel. Bathroom did not have an enclosed bathtub or shower. Definitely were some cobwebs in the ceiling. Was totally fine for an overnight, but fronts like a much nicer hotel online.

there was some kind of plastic under the linen, felt a bit weird sometimes, other than that only the many insects around the hotel were a bit annoying, but it's a problem of the city as a whole because of the hot summer

when we were checking in another guest was complaining about the cleaning service , we soon realized why … the front desk at the reception had dust from some time , in our room walking shoeless you could feel the ceramic floor was not properly cleaned , the windows were filthy too . we booked a suite because we had been travelling by car for many days , it was an odd room with a mezzanine . The bathroom had a bath with no protection which meant that the toilet floor and even baths towels were all wet after just the first shower . there was not enough lighting of the living room, the room was also very warm and the air conditioning unit that was downstairs was weak and you couldn’t get the temperature down from 22 Celsius . Which in an mezzanine right under the roof in the middle of summer is not enough specially with all the mosquitoes from the lagoon . luckily it was raining so the temperature dropped a little . it’s a shame because it’s a beautiful hotel but it’s not taken care off and not worth what is charged because of that .

The hotel seems to have been very nice some time ago . The common areas , the interior design is nice , but it needs better upkeep .

Our bedroom had a tub with hand held shower without a wall shower head hook or shower curtain. So a lot of water ended up on the bathroom floor. Additionally, the AC was not strong. The staff promised to provide a fan. We reminded them about it 4 times, but never got it. There was always a different answer (today is Sunday we can't buy it because all stores are closed; we took it to the wrong room, we will brong it to you soon, call us later if it is not in tour room yet, etc.). About the AC, you either have the AC on or the blackout curtains in front of the window. If you pull the curtains the AC is trapped behid it. Finally, at 6.30pm I wanted to hang out in the common area woth sofas and tables to take care of some emails and I asked to turn on the lights. They said yes, but they did not. And the AC was off. I ended up checking emails in the dark.

We got a room with a mezzanine where two people slept on the bottom floor and two on the mezzanine. Unfortunately the top part is hot and the AC struggles to cool down the temperature in the mezzanine. Breakfast was generouse, fresh and with a nice variety of fruit, deli meat, croissants, cheese, etc.

The Internet did not work, the bathroom in one of the rooms was half broken and did not have a shower

Some staff was very gracious and friendly, some not so. Internet in the rooms never worked and they keep telling that it does. The breakfast table late in the morning was always empty even if they inform us of scattered breakfast time because of Covid.

On the website they promise wifi everywhere in the hotel. The wifi did not work in our room, however, and seemed to be weak on the top floor in general. Other than that the hotel was nice and the staff was friendly.

VERY LIMESTONE IN BATHROOM FAUCETS, SHOWER NOT WORKING AT BEST. LOW LIGHT EXPECIALLY IN BATHROOM. THERE ARE FEW ELECTRICAL SOCKETS AVAILABE, MANY DIFFICULTIES TO RECHARGE THE DEVICES. BREAKFAST IN ROOM WAS LOW QUALITY. THE PRICE REQUESTED IS TOO HIGH FOR THIS STRUCTURE.
