Breakfast was very good …..loved the Trastevere neighbourhood…..far enough away from busy central Rome , but yet close enough to walk to many attractions .

Only suggestion would be an extra shelf in the bathroom.

Hosts were very welcoming and clear about check in and hotel policies. Property was very clean, with nice decor and accommodation for holding luggage.

Super welcoming and nice staff! Clean and perfectly located. The beds are comfortable and the other amenities are great. The breakfast place was super close and had a great breakfast that’s included in the stay. Plenty of good restaurant options very close to the room. Trastevere is a great neighborhood. The cleaning staff did a great job cleaning the room every day.

Ticked all my boxes — safe, quiet, air conditioned, dark window covering, comfy bed, nice bathroom and great location. Lovely room in an old refurbished apartment building . Elevator to the second floor. New window that opened. Francesca met us upon arrival and gave us our keys, info and breakfast vouchers. She also helped arrange transportation from the airport and to the train station.

Perfect place in Trastevere. Good value for money, fantastic location, room was bigger than expected and very clean. Francesca was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Rome.

The front door to the apartment can sometimes be a bit noisy - but that‘s complaining on a high level.

San Cosimato 40 is a wonderful spot to base your Rome visit. The location is easy walking distance from the centre of Rome while also being among the Roman hustle and bustle of Trastevere - you can pretend to be a local. It’s safe, very well maintained and the bedrooms are huge. Best of all is that the proprietor, Francesca, is wonderfully welcoming and helpful.

Very clean and sufficient resources for every need and a perfect location in Trastevere. The owner Francesca was the perfect host, attending to every question and need immediately. And the complementary breakfast was delicious and so generous it gets you through the rest of the day.

Great location in Trastevere with nice restaurants nearby. Room was newly renovated, clean and quiet. Francesca was a great host--we felt like honored guests. Our server at the breakfast cafe treated us like family--great food. We loved our stay here and have recommended Cosimato 40 several times on Facebook travel groups.

It can get a bit loud during the night, both from the street (which should not come as a surprise given the location) and other rooms.
