We booked a room with a view but it was the last room in the hotel and half the view was actually the outside wall. It was beautiful though, we just expected a different view because of the pictures. Wi-Fi signal was poor.

The place was quiet and peaceful. It has its own parking lot. It is within walking distance of the city - about 15-20 minutes. You can also catch a bus that will take you to one of the main gates in 5 minutes. The view from the hotel is great. There are many pleasant places to rest.

The AC had been turned off for the entire hotel. We opened our window to get fresh air and a car jumped into our room in the middle of the night. Someone installed screens after the first night so that was better. There were a lot of bugs in our room also. Lastly, the staff would not let my husband drink coffee and do his emails in the restaurant in the morning because he did not buy a full breakfast, even though the space was not busy.

this place is super cute and quiet. location was great, very close to get into san Gimignano. the pool was clean, there were enough pool chairs there. they didn't have pool towels (from what we saw). the room is good, large comfy beds, clean washrooms. this place is exactly what we thought it was going to be. they have free parking on site which is a plus. great view from the pool.

Unfortunately fridge didn’t work in our room.

Room clean and comfortable. Aircon worked well. The pool was amazing, loved the view. The gardens were great and the lavender smelled lovely. Nice walk to San Gimignano town centre. Staff were friendly. Great to have the bar on site.

The bed was not very conformable and the AC didn't work properly. WIFI simply didn't work.

The view is beautiful and the hotel has a very nice swimming pool in a nice garden.

Wi-Fi signal was poor. Air Con was hit and miss. Was turned off at the mains on some nights and the room became extremely hot and uncomfortable resulting in a few bad nights sleep. We were told to open a window instead. No tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast was poor value for money.

The view, the pool and garden area was lovely to relax. The pool was very clean. Room and bathroom was extremely clean. Mosquito net at window was great.

Noise travels between rooms, but while we were there everyone was quiet from 11pm to 7am. I guess if you are unlucky and get noisy neighbors, it could be a problem. The WIFI was not strong or speedy. Didn't seem to work in evenings (maybe too many people using it). There is a refrigerator in the room but an electric Kettle would have been nice. (Minor)

We had a room with a view. The view was fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! They did a great job! Clean rooms. Beautiful pool with a great view. Breakfast was delicious. They made real cappuccinos (not automatic machine) and quality food. Musli, yogurt, bread, ham, cheeses, jams, pastries. 15 min walk to the heart of San Gimignano.

There was no electric kettle in the room or coffee/tea options (or briskets/cookies) would have been appreciated - the only place we have stayed in 2 weeks with no offerings. We did not opt to pay extra for their breakfast as they offered coffee/tea but only sweets for 12 euros.

There was some green in the pool. The pool was not heated but we managed to get in all the same. Two single beds pushed together but still very comfy

The location of the hotel was absolutely exception! What a view. The hotel staff were really kind and happy to help. The room has everything you needed, including a fridge, even if it all was a bit dated!

The rules and regulations!

The location is the best thing about the hotel. Being near a local bus stop is very useful for accessing San Gimignano plus the distance is also walkable. The views from the garden and the pool (which is lovely) are superb. Whilst situate on a main road, this is largely hidden, making the pool and garden areas a nice place to relax.

Would be great if they offered a snack menu in the afternoon. We were told no drinks no food other then the breakfast. We bought our own fruit and drinks to consume by the pool. The cakes were nice in the morning we would pay for those if they were available in the afternoon with tea and coffee.

I never had really warm water when i took a shower!

The breakfast was good enough, It was an Italian style breakfast and a bit on the sweet side! The owner baked everyday different cakes and they fit very well to the place!

The only thing we thought was kind of strange were the two women working at the hotel, especially one of them was not really friendly (i don't know if they own the hotel or if they are just working there) but we did not feel very welcome. First we thought she didn't really like us but then we noticed she was like that with eyerybody.

We really liked the well groomed garden and the pool area. You have a wonderful view over the tuscany hills and San Gimignano. The rooms are not that big but cozy and the bed was very comortable. In our room was a fly screen against the mosquitos witch was very helpful. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.
