Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceHonestly, the ONLY thing I didn't like was that every time I opened one of the windows I had to deal with the mosquitoes that entered... and there were plenty of them!
I really liked the fact that the apartment was so close to the underground station and to so many important places of interest and food places! Another great feature was the fully equipped kitchen!!

United States of AmericaThe checkout experience was pretty poor. One, it's set for pretty early, and as we were leaving we got a text that we needed to pay city tax for the four of us. Luckily, the cleaning person showed up before we left because apparently it had to be paid in cash.
This is a really great location and the host was pretty helpful in suggesting somewhere to go for dinner. We had two bathrooms, which was good. And we had a laundry in the unit which was great. It's not straightforward to get in, so the host sent me WhatsApp videos explaining it-- that made the whole thing relatively stress-free.

RomaniaFor 4 adult guests, the living-room sofa was not very comfortable; not enough plates, glasses, cups, not very clean pots and pans, the yellowish colour of the duvet, which did not have a cover, and the thick layer of ice in the freezer part of the fridge.
The position of the apartment, very close to a subway station and to the Vatican, the kindness of the owner, the prompt answers to our questions, the fact that there are two bathrooms in the apartment.

AustraliaThe sofa bed has seen better days and could use a bit of cleaning. Having coffee/tea supplies and basic toiletries, like hand soap and extra toilet paper, would also add a nice touch :)
The location was perfect for us as we wanted to stay near the Vatican area. The Ottaviano metro station is just around the corner of the apartment block so it's easy to get to other places. There were also a lot of dining options and shops in the area, including a small supermarket a few blocks away. The apartment itself is located in the back of the apartment building block so it was quiet. It has a view of the building courtyard from the kitchen/living area. Self check-in to the apartment was also easy. Our host, Matteo, sent through the instructions (with videos) on how to get to the apartment building and to the apartment itself the day before we were set to arrive. We also liked that the apartment has 2 bathrooms as it made preparing in the morning more efficient given the size of our group. It was also handy that the apartment had a flat iron, a hair dryer, clothes rack and hangers available. If you're looking for a no-frills apartment in a very accessible area, I would highly recommend this apartment.

United States of AmericaThe shower in the master bath was too small for adults to use. The shower head hanger was broken in both bathrooms so you had to hold the shower head. The kitchen could have been cleaner and the fridge door handle was broken. The property could use an upgrade, it is worn down.
Great location, the metro station is just steps away. A short walk from the Vatican. good restaurants around.

United Arab Emiratesthe only problem is it’s hard to carry all heavy luggages going inside the apartment. because when you enter the facility there is a stair to carry all luggage before you reach the elevator going to 5th floor to get inside the room 😭 But anyway, we enjoy our stay, it’s part of our journey to Rome, Italy.
Very nice location, Apartment is fully furnished, accessible to metro, supermarkets, food chains like Jollibee, McDonald’s and Restaurants and most especially a few minutes walk to Vatican. The Metro station is very closed to the apartment a minute walk down the underground Metro station. The metro is also accessible to all your target destinations for walking tour. Friendly advise that Make sure to activate your offline google maps instead of using your mobile data for easy reach your target destination.
