How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Convenient, clean and nicely looking place. Our room was well heated (it has a perfectly working heating control), and it felt immediately homey and welcoming after spending a cold winterish day around Siena. Convenient parking. Another highlight is breakfast, which was a good one, and also the breakfast area has a wonderful view.

would be good to renew the hairdryer.
breakfast was good, we were enjoying a lots. But if there is a bit more warm food in winter time would be great. Receptionist was very friendly and upgraded our room for more space for kid friendly. Place is tidy and easy to find, free parking in hotel.

Breakfast was monotonous but that's not unusual in Italy so we didn't mind but don't expect a huge variety of savory food.
Great location, close to the mall from which you can transfer to Siena city center. Room was cleaned every day, staff was very attentive and friendly. Swimming pool area is beautiful and a perfect place to relax.

It was missing some facilities in the room, such as an exhausting system in the bathroom
The property is in a strategic place, easy to go to all touristic points. The room we stayed was very comfortable and the staff always ready to any help.

Even though the daytime air temperature was in the upper 20s, the pool was chilly by 16 September (no covering at night to keep in the warmth,). There was a 3 Euro charge for borrowing a pool towel so we had to dry them in our room rather than paying each day to change them. No restaurant for evening meal - had to drive into Siena to find one open on Monday evening.
Easy enough to find with satnav plenty of free parking. Breakfast was excellent, staff helpful, room comfortable, Only about 15 minutes drive to Siena city centre car parks. Nice pool.

We had to taxi into town.
The staff was unfailingly helpful, and the breakfasts were excellent. Rooms were plain but very comfortable. Firm beds.

This property is very well run. It is clean and tasteful, with an excellent and friendly staff. It is not in the town itself, but on the hill overlooking the town. The local bus can quickly take you into town. We just drove down to the train station, which was 5 minutes away and parked for 2 Euros a day. We then walked into town. There is plenty of free onsite parking, which is a great benefit to folks with cars. Lastly, great continental breakfasts! I would say here again. Great property.

We liked absolutely everything; we had an excellent choice for breakfast every day - everything was fresh and tasty, room was nice size, very clean and spacious. The pool was a great addition especially for a hot afternoon after taking lots of sightseeing in Siena. The lady at reception nicely recommended to park the car at the train station which was a couple of minutes away for just 2 euros a day and has 8 escalators to "climb" to old Siena town.
