This place is a bit far from the sea as you have to go down the hill cca 600m. But there is a shuttle coming regularly to and back from the sea. We apreciated the distance while having great views of the sea when having breakfast or dinner.

This place is just amazing, silent with with great views of the sea. The food was just excellent, great breakfasts and delicious dinners. The people there were very kind and helpful. Together with my wife we really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Calling itself Relais du SILENCE, the walls of the rooms are not at all soundproof though. Service Personal acted very unprofessional talking of wanting to go to bed while serving breakfast. While advertising vegan and veggie options on the Website unfortunately it is very much focused on meat and dairy.

Scenery is brilliant, spectacular Garden, beautiful suroundings, shuttle Bus to the beach

Hair dryer useless for women hair, take yours!

Very good family run hotel in Sant'Andrea. Garden overlooks the sea and it's always chilled, perfect to relax with a good book. Waiters are really nice and make your stay extremely comfortable. Compared to other options in Elba on the summer season, this is a very good balanced choice: nor too posh and formal neithrr a noisy youngster spot. In house restaurant offering half board option is a good option to consider.

Music at breakfast and dinner is unnecessary in this "relais du silence"

The bathroom could be a bit more modern. Hotel guests can not eat outside on the beautiful terrace for dinner because it is reserved for a-la-carte orders, but for breakfast it is allowed.

The 3-coourse dinner with seafood comes at a surcharge (for those without half-board) but is terrific and really worth the money. No need for going out to find a restaurant. Beautiful garden.

    Wi-fi could be stronger.

It is an incredibly unique place. View from the garden and the garden itself were just amazing! I could stay there forever. The atmosphere of this hotel was great, staff was very helpful and friendly. The free shuttle bus which takes guests to the beach rides promptly. The beach was good for snorkeling which was the main goal of our trip but there were much better beaches on Elba to discover underwater life. But I think when it comes to views, st. Andrea is the best place on Elba island.

the bed could be better: two mattresses on a double structure. coffe and cappuccino also could be better because they were made by machine.

We were alone in the hotel (mid October) and the owners must have been ready for a break but they nevertheless looked after us royally. Alissa, chef and daughter, cooks like a dream. To be there in the summer, dining in the garden must be wonderful. Don't miss it! Buffet breakfast extensive choice plus willingness to prepare omelettes etc on request. Bedroom with view across the garden to the islands and sea.

All was good. Only wifi was slow, but who needs wifi on such a lovely place

We spent lovely days in St Andrea. We felt like home, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Like living with a family. But most outstanding was the food. A fantastic 4 course dinner for small money, interesting and excellent combinations of local ingredients. Just be careful not to finish all, too much for one person

It is a bit isolated which is both good and bad.

A very nice and clean hotel with a nice garden. A shuttle bus brings the guests to the beach.
