Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaDo NOT accept a room that has the adjoining room option (i.e. an internal door to the next room). These doors are EXTREMELY thin and you can hear your neighbor's TV, their fights with their spouses, yawning, coughing, etc. While the bed was comfortable enough, I found sleeping pretty miserable and it detracted from my overall trip/stay. Even a neighbor that sleeps with the TV on low can be problematic.
The food, especially dinner, was excellent. A variety of main course options - to include 3 different pasta options per evening - and plenty of healthy options. (Meat, fish, some veggies are prepared on an outside grill.) They provide a great variety of dessert options, too. There was also plenty of staff to serve, etc. I thought it was very professional and apart from the beach, the best thing. Per the beach: there is a private corner, with its own bar. The beach is really incredible and there is a lifeguard present. Some staff come out to teach a half-hour of water aerobics and will motivate you to play Bocce ball with other guests (really fun.) Pro-tip to save money: There are busses from the port-side Cagliari bus station (near Via Roma) that go directly to Sant'Elmo for 4.90 Euros. So you don't need a car.

IrelandThe family room was very small for 4 people by comparison to a double room and very basic. Shower broke twice. Paying for drinking water every day was costly, is only free at breakfast.
Amazing buffet-style food 3 times a day and beautiful swimming pool. Very close to a beautiful private beach.

ItalyThe property itself feels a bit dated, and the furniture in the rooms certainly should be updated even though I have seen the management write that it is "Sardinian cottage style" it really just looks like it hasn't been updated since the 90s. That being said, the cottages are adorable with little porches and chairs to relax. Overall, the resort tends to cater to families or retirees based on the entertainment provided. You are required to pay €7 per day for the "club card" which includes the entertainment staff trying to convince you to play darts or do "beach yoga." All things we didn't utilize nor have interest in. So unfortunately there wasn't really much entertainment-wise for 20-somethings. The other major pain point is the cafeteria. You are automatically assigned a table for the entirety of your stay, which means while some people get to enjoy tables out on the terrace others are forced to eat inside for their entire vacation which didn't seem like a fair system to me. The food is average for a cafeteria/buffet style, but I find it a bit ridiculous that not even water is included with dinner.
The star of the accommodation is the beach. The beach is absolutely gorgeous with pristine white sand and crystal clear blue water. The stay includes an umbrella and two beach chairs which is very nice and convenient. There is even another bar on the beach where you can get food and drinks, as well as a shop, to rent beach equipment such as SUP or pedal boats. The grounds of the property are beautiful and the pool is great.

AustriaCONS: - rooms are quite clean though bathroom is a bit outdates, if you are used to smth more modern you won’t like it. Toilet sounds like a rocket engine 😬 - water and towels are not included to the price. Maybe it is usual for Italy, but in Greece or Spain i ve never experience this, used to be always included. It’s a small thing but somehow unpleasant…
PROS: -very polite & kind personnel! always happy to help - very nice food, lots of healthy options, nice fruits (only deserts were quite cheap apart from that all food of high quality) - very nice hotel territory, nice beaches around! we tried several ones - beach and water - crystal clear!

Israelit feels there’s not enough workers in the hotel…. the same person do everything from cleaning the toilet up to driving you to the room and fix any problem, this can hurt the service in some way.

United KingdomDrinks prices were high. 5 euros for a bottle of local beer and 7 for a weak aperol spritz is higher than normal but to be expected in a place like this. Main issue though, which really annoyed me is that they don't provide drinking water to fill up bottles. You need to pay 3 Euro's to buy a medium sized bottle which is just extortionate for such a hot climate. No shops nearby to get bulk water either. Their excuse to not provide a tap is due to covid but that's a poor excuse in my eyes. If it's the case provide free water at every meal and charge less for bottles.
The staff were brilliant and very helpful. Especially Antonio in the dining room who was an absolute delight. The food was exceptional for buffet style. Great selection of food, plenty of it and with healthy and unhealthy options. Nice pool and good sun loungers on a great beach for relaxing, swimming and drinking.

SlovakiaBreakfast could be a bit longer, 9:30 is still a bit early for me.
The hotel area is very well maintained. All staff were super friendly, really fast and helpful during lunch, dinner and also in the beach club. The best one is the bartender in the beach club, not quite sure about his name ("Andreo" possibly), really enjoyed ordering drinks in there. Reserved beach beds are big plus, so you don't have to rush anywhere. I would also highlight the food, we had a full board and there was always something delicious. Lots of sea food, grill, pasta.

Czech RepublicThe decorations are rather outdated, we were looking forward to stay in 4* environment on our honeymoon trip so we set our expectations rather high, so we were a bit disappointed. The equipment&decorations are rather from early 00’s. We were surprised by mold in the shower. But I guess it’s hard to keep 100% clean tiles in such humid climate 24/7. I’m a coffee enthusiast so the breakfast cappuccino didn’t please be as I wished, but that’s just my thing. It was okay though :-) If you want to use a pool, you need to buy a swimming cap for 2€ at the reception and rent a towel if you don’t have your own. P.S.: if you can, rent a car, otherwise there’s not much to see but the resort
The food was really good, with full board we didn’t really struggle with hunger, everyone can always choose from given options. There are always a couple of BBQ options and nice fish. The staff was speaking English in most cases and girls at the reception were really helpful. Thank you again :-)

United States of AmericaWe liked everything about it!
We loved staying here! The staff were always friendly, helpful and courteous. The grounds with its beautiful native flowering bushes and green lawns and charming cottages were peaceful and relaxing. The nearby long white sand beach in a sheltered cove could not have been nicer. The water is crystal clear and great for swimming and playing. The quality, taste and variety of foods prepared for meals was like eating at a 5-star Italian restaurant.
