It’s location was one of the worst things for people who want to go to Downtown Rome. Without a car or cab fares, it’s not easy to get around.

The staff is great, extremely kind, and helpful. We had a problem with our first room’s Air Conditioning & they gave us a better room right away.

As many of the other reviews said, the hotel is popular for student/school groups. During my stay, there was one student group with us. It was so noisy in the hallway in the middle of the night as I can hear the students laughing and chatting from one room to another (they didnt close their doors). I heard the teacher (i assumed) scolded them, but still not so helpful. Apparently the hotel needs better sound proof to accomodate this.

The room smelled like a fresh linen, which I really like.

    See above

Perched on a hill with access to the flat roof and deckchairs, there was a sense of openness and peace. The hotel is surrounded by trees with a small church- after which the hotel was named and seminary next door. There was constant bird sound and the and one could not help noticing the huge cancti in the grounds. One felt close to nature, an unusual quality for a hotel. Inside each bedroom was decorated with unique pieces of original art, another clue of an unusual heritage. Although now a little jaded, this special 'sense of place' still captivates one and enhances the visit. The staff were friendly and helpful and very proud of their little hotel. The breakfast was typical Italian- odd cereal, bit cheese and ham and cakes/pastries. To be honest I have had better elsewhere, especially the coffee. With a little effort this could be improved as it lets down the hotel with its otherwise attractive appeal and unique selling point.

Location bit far. and you need to book early for dinner, otherwise you need to walk a lot.

The bed was dirty, extremely uncomfortable, the sheets had holes and very greasy. The bathroom is very small but works. One of the bedside lamps was broken and the bulb completely exposed. When my boyfriend and I asked for extra towels at the reception because we were missing face towels, the man at first refused claiming he cannot... Afterwards he came in apologizing and handed us the towels. Overall, for the price we paid I was extremely disappointed. The condition of the rooms is not of a three star hotel and were not as advertised.

The location is not easy to find but convenient and quiet. BUT the nearest metro station needs to be reached by car.

No internet in the rooms. Can't be that hard to purchase a couple of WiFi range extenders and make WiFi available all over the property?

Bed was nice, A/C was working properly (you'll appreciate it on the hot days). Front desk staff helpful and friendly in general. Location is close to a gas station, BBQ restaurant, panini type sandwich place (skip it, overpriced and bad quality) and a McDonalds. The Holiday Inn nearby runs a daily shuttle that takes you to the nearest (4 km-ish) metro station. 4 euro for a roundtrip and the metro is another 1,50 for a single (100 minutes). Very convenient if you don't want to take the car into the city and the metro takes you to the Duomo in about 15-20 mins. Prostitutes come out at night (they do all over Rome, so don't blame this area.). They seem very friendly and normal -unlike the addicted type you sometimes see in the US- and they stick to the side of the roads. If you don't bother them, they won't bother you. It's that easy.

Wifi was only free at reception area. Location is very bad. Hotel is very far away from the city center. You have to take 2 means of transport to reach there and it takes 2 hours. İf you are tourist and want to do city siteseeing it is definitely not the recommended hotel. Also in the nights you will see prostitutes in the vicinity.

Staff was extremely helpful, cheerful. Rooms were clean, tidy. Breakfast was good.

it is not the best solution to visit the city

    - Located close to the city ring, this hotel is a nice place to spend a night while travelling (e.g. a stopover night from and to fiumicino airport) - Having a car is a must
